Nelson picked up the save Sunday against the Athletics, allowing one run on one hit while striking out one in the ninth inning.

Nelson was a surprise choice to close things out, but with Kevin Ginkel unavailable after throwing 20 pitches Saturday, the Diamondbacks turned to the 29-year-old lefty to finish off the win. His lone blemish was a solo shot off the bat of JJ Bleday, but he otherwise preserved the lead to notch the first save of his career in his 133rd MLB relief outing. Kendall Graveman, who handled the eighth inning against the heart of Oakland's lineup, may remain the top setup option behind Ginkel, but Nelson's usage hints at Arizona's willingness to mix and match in the late innings when needed.

Strider is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Brewers in Atlanta, Olivia Sayer of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

After making his most recent appearance July 28 in Kansas City, Strider will technically be taking the hill on eight days' rest, though the right-hander went through a full warmup Saturday before he was scratched from his scheduled start in the MLB Speedway Classic versus the Reds following a lengthy rain delay. Strider shouldn't be in store for any restrictions Wednesday, but since he won't be taking the hill for either of the first two games of the series with Milwaukee, he'll end up missing out on a potential two-start week.

Fedde is scheduled to start Monday's game against the Brewers in Atlanta, Olivia Sayer of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Acquired from the Cardinals last Sunday, Fedde was called upon to fill one of the openings in an injury-plagued Atlanta rotation just two days later. In his team debut against the Royals on Tuesday, Fedde was dealt a loss while giving up four earned runs on five hits and two walks over 4.2 innings, but the veteran right-hander will get at least one more opportunity to stake his claim to a more permanent stay in the rotation. He'll tentatively line up for a two-start week, with his second appearance expected to come in one half of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Marlins.

Rodriguez (forearm) has struck out eight batters and allowed seven earned runs on seven hits and five walks over seven innings in two appearances since being reinstated from Triple-A Nashville's 7-day injured list July 23.

Rodriguez was on the shelf for just under two months due to a right forearm strain. The 23-year-old right-hander possesses a spot on the Brewers' 40-man roster, but given the rustiness he's displayed since returning from the IL in addition to Milwaukee's ample rotation depth, Rodriguez is unlikely to be in the mix for starts at the big-league level anytime soon.

Stowers went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Sunday's win over the Yankees.

Stowers knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly in the second inning before ripping a three-run shot in the fourth. He went deep twice and drove in three runs during Miami's three-game sweep of the Yankees. He's gone deep nine times over his last 16 appearances, and he's up to 25 home runs on the year. Stowers owns an impressive .296/.373/.575 slash line with 71 RBI as one of the biggest fantasy breakout stars of 2025.

Rodriguez (4-7) picked up the win Sunday against the Athletics, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five over five innings.

Rodriguez turned in a steady performance Sunday after a rocky month of July, when he was tagged for four or more runs in three of his four starts and posted a bloated 7.40 ERA and 1.98 WHIP. Both of Rodriguez's runs allowed came on a Nick Kurtz two-RBI single in the fifth inning, but he otherwise limited damage and kept Arizona in control. The veteran southpaw may be turning a corner, and he'll look to build on this performance in his next outing, slated for next weekend against the Rockies.

Schwarber went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Tigers.

Schwarber was the only Phillie with multiple hits in this contest, which included an eighth-inning solo shot off Tyler Holton. That long ball moved Schwarber into a tie with Shohei Ohtani for the National League lead with 38 homers on the year. Schwarber has added a .254/.379/.578 slash line, 88 RBI, 77 runs scored and 10 stolen bases over 111 contests. He hit .264 with a 1.093 OPS in a 12-homer barrage in July, so there's been no slowing down for Philadelphia's main designated hitter.

Duran struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Tigers.

Duran has converted a save in each of his first two appearances for the Phillies after being traded from the Twins at the deadline. The right-hander had a bit of a bumpy July to close out his Minnesota tenure, allowing four runs on 14 hits and four walks over 12 innings last month. Duran's save quantity should take a step up now that he's pitching for a contender, and he's unlikely to be challenged for closing duties. He's maintained a 1.93 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 54:18 K:BB through 51.1 innings while converting 18 of 20 save chances this season.

Sanchez (10-3) allowed five hits and a walk while striking out six over eight shutout innings to earn the win over the Tigers on Sunday.

Sanchez was efficient as well as excellent, throwing 58 of 84 pitches for strikes in this start. This is the third time in his last eight outings that he's completed eight frames, and he's gone at least seven innings in eight of 11 starts since the beginning of June. The southpaw continues to have a breakout campaign -- he's now at a 2.40 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 145:34 K:BB through 138.2 innings over 22 starts. Sanchez's next start is projected to be on the road versus the Rangers.

Horwitz went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double, six RBI and an additional run scored in Sunday's 9-5 win over the Rockies.

The leadoff man erupted at the plate Sunday, launching a two-run homer in the second inning and following it up with a three-run shot in the sixth. This was the first-baseman's his third career multi-homer game, and he registered a new career best with six RBI. Horwitz has been red-hot since the All-Star break, batting .346 (18-for-52) with 15 RBI and nine runs scored over 15 games. The 27-year-old is seeing the ball well and continues to deliver impact production atop the Pirates lineup.
