Farmer went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Guardians.

Farmer left the yard in the ninth inning for his fifth home run this year, tying his total from last season. He's now scored four runs over his last two games but has not shown much life at the plate otherwise, slashing .216/.265/.347.

Beck went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Guardians.

Beck got the Rockies on the board with a solo home run in the fourth for just his second long ball since June 22. He has just six extra-base hits in 83 at-bats in July but has still been swinging a good bat, as he's slashing .325/.371/.458 this month. For the season, Beck is up to 12 home runs, 36 RBI, 46 runs, 11 steals and a 27:106 BB:K in 383 plate appearances.

Gordon (2-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Guardians, allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out two in three innings.

Gordon was hit around in this one and had a disappointing outing after he was impressive in a scoreless showing against the Cardinals last week. Gordon allowed three runs through two innings and coughed up another four runs in the third, including a Kyle Manzardo two-run homer and Brayan Rocchio two-run triple. Despite the rough showing, Gordon figures to stick around in the rotation for the short term while German Marquez (biceps) is recovering. Gordon lines up to start at home versus the Blue Jays to begin next week.

Beeks (back) walked one batter and allowed no hits over a scoreless inning of relief in a rehab appearance Tuesday for Triple-A Reno.

Beeks has been on the shelf since July 11 due to back inflammation, so he's not expected to require an extended rehab assignment before rejoining the Arizona bullpen. Depending on how he recovers from Tuesday's outing, Beeks could be reinstated in advance of the club's weekend series in Sacramento versus the Athletics.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said after Tuesday's 9-6 loss to the Royals that White will take over as the team's primary right fielder after Ronald Acuna exited the contest with right Achilles inflammation, Avery Osen of the Associated Press reports.

Though Acuna appears to have avoided a rupture of his Achilles tendon, he's still likely to miss more than the minimum 10 days after Atlanta officially placed him on the injured list Wednesday. Atlanta recalled Jarred Kelenic from Triple-A Gwinnett to provide another option in the outfield while Acuna is out, but given Kelenic's tepid production in the big leagues and minors this season, White should be first in line to fill in for the star right fielder. White has proven serviceable when given meaningful playing time with Atlanta this season; he'll head into Wednesday's series finale in Kansas City having maintained a .255/.297/.391 slash line to go with four home runs and seven stolen bases over 196 plate appearances.

Herrera is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

Herrera will hit the bench for the fourth time in five games and appears to be falling into the shorter side of a timeshare at catcher with James McCann, who started in three of the previous four contests. Both McCann and Herrera will be left out of the lineup for the series finale in Detroit, however, as Arizona hands Adrian Del Castillo -- who had been serving as the club's primary designated hitter -- his first start of the season at catcher.

Pfaadt (10-7) took the loss Tuesday, coughing up seven runs on 11 hits -- including three home runs -- over 4.2 innings in a 12-2 rout at the hands of the Tigers. He struck out three without walking a batter.

The Diamondbacks held a 2-0 lead through three innings as Pfaadt seemed to be in control, but things unraveled quickly for the right-hander, with all three long balls off him coming in a nightmarish fifth frame. It's the first time since June 5 that Pfaadt has been tagged for more than four runs and the first time since June 10 he's served up multiple homers, ending a sharp seven-start stretch in which he posted a 3.48 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 40:7 K:BB over 41.1 innings. Pfaadt will try to get back on track in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home early next week against the Padres.

Thomas is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

The left-handed-hitting Thomas will get a rare day off against a righty (Chris Paddack) while the Diamondbacks clear room in the lineup for Jorge Barrosa, who will occupy center field in the series finale. Thomas started in both of the first two games of the series, going 1-for-6 with a solo home run and a walk.

Atlanta recalled Kelenic from Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.

Kelenic will join Atlanta as a replacement on the active roster for the injured Ronald Acuna (Achilles) and could see plenty of action in right field while Acuna recuperates. The 26-year-old Kelenic was sent down to Gwinnett in late April after slashing .167/.231/.300 with a 35.4 percent strikeout rate, and he hasn't performed much better at Gwinnett, hitting only .217/.289/.322 over 305 plate appearances.

Atlanta placed Acuna on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with right Achilles inflammation.

Acuna suffered the injury during Tuesday's 9-6 loss to Kansas City. He appears to have avoided a significant setback on the health front but will undergo an MRI on Wednesday to confirm that's the case, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports. If Acuna does receive good news with his MRI, he could return in 2-to-3 weeks. Jarred Kelenic has been recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to take Acuna's spot on the active roster, and he could see action in right field along with Eli White while Acuna is sidelined.
