Kinley earned the save in Sunday's 4-3 extra-innings win against the Brewers, pitching a clean inning with two strikeouts.

After Kyle Farmer knocked home the automatic runner in the top of the 11th, Kinley succinctly wrapped the game on 12 pitches, nine of which were strikes, in the bottom of the frame. The 34-year-old was able to notch his first save since June 6, while Seth Halvorsen, who had recorded Colorado's previous three saves, pitched a scoreless ninth to force extras. Kinley now sports a 6.75 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 35:24 K:BB across 36 total innings.

Vodnik (3-2) blew the save and picked up the win in Sunday's 4-3 extra-innings victory at Milwaukee. He allowed one unearned run on a hit and a walk with one strikeout over one inning.

Vodnik was called upon in the 10th frame after the Rockies scored a run in the top of the inning. The 25-year-old suffered his third blown save of the season when he allowed the automatic runner to score on a wild pitch; however, he bagged the win when Colorado subsequently took the lead in the top of the 11th. Vodnik was afforded this save opportunity after Seth Halvorsen pitched a scoreless ninth to push the contest into extras. Through 23.2 total innings, Vodnik has pitched to a 2.66 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 22:12 K:BB.

Mueth (undisclosed) struck out two and allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks Wednesday in his return to the Single-A Bradenton rotation after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list.

Mueth made just two starts for Bradenton before landing on the IL on April 13 due to the unspecified injury. He was cleared to begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League on June 12, and after tossing four innings over a pair of starts, he made his way back to Bradenton. The 20-year-old righty boasts a power arsenal, but finding the strike zone has proven difficult for him through his first two-plus seasons in the professional ranks. Over 84 career innings, Mueth has walked 57 of the 385 batters he has faced (14.8 percent).

Marquez allowed two runs on three hits and three walks over 5.2 innings in a no-decision Sunday at Milwaukee. He struck out five.

The only blemishes on the veteran right-hander's performance were two solo homers, and he allowed two or fewer earned runs for the fourth consecutive outing. Over that span, Marquez has pitched to a 1.33 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB across 20.1 frames while allowing three long balls. Through 83.1 total innings, the 30-year-old now sports a 5.62 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 61:27 K:BB. Marquez is currently slated to make his next start in Colorado's home series next weekend against the White Sox.

Megill blew the save in Sunday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to Colorado. He allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and no walks over two innings with two strikeouts.

The Milwaukee closer entered the ninth with a one-run lead, which he coughed up by allowing a 385-foot solo shot to Orlando Arcia. Megill then reappeared for the 10th frame and allowed the automatic runner to score on a Thairo Estrada single. In total, Megill required 30 pitches, 22 of which were strikes, to complete this appearance. Despite this hiccup, the flamethrowing right-hander has been solid in 11.1 June innings with a 3.18 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB while converting eight of 10 save opportunities.

Bae (undisclosed) has gone 5-for-12 with a walk, an RBI and four runs in three games for Triple-A Indianapolis since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Friday.

After he was optioned to Triple-A on May 16 following a week-long stint in the big leagues, Bae played in just one game for Indianapolis before landing on the IL a week later. He was cleared to start up a rehab assignment with Single-A Bradenton on June 17, and after six games in the Florida State League, he made his return to the Indianapolis lineup.

Patrick did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Rockies. He allowed four hits and two walks over five scoreless innings with eight strikeouts.

The Colorado lineup was unable to square up Patrick, as he conceded just one extra-base hit -- a double to Mickey Moniak. With this performance, the Milwaukee right-hander notched his third outing with eight or more Ks this season, producing 15 whiffs among his 99 total pitches. After pitching to an unimpressive 6.00 ERA in 21 innings across his previous four June starts, Patrick capped the month by lowering his season ERA from 3.72 to 3.51 in 89.2 total frames. The 26-year-old rookie is scheduled to face another weak opponent, the Marlins, in his next start on the road next weekend.

DeJong (orbital) will return to Washington and could be activated off the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Tigers, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

DeJong landed on the IL in mid-April after he fractured his nose and orbital bone when he was hit in the face by a pitch from the Pirates' Mitch Keller. After undergoing surgery to address the injury, DeJong was cleared for a rehab assignment in mid-June, and in 12 games with Double-A Harrisburg, he has slashed .275/.348/.375 with one steal and one home run. The 31-year-old had been serving as the Nationals' primary third baseman prior to getting hurt, but he may have to settle for a utility role upon his return if Washington remains committed to letting rookie Brady House play regularly.

Single-A San Jose placed Ortiz on its 7-day injured list in April due to an unspecified injury.

Ortiz initially appeared to be in line for a brief stay on the shelf, as he was cleared to begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on May 13. The 20-year-old outfielder went 3-for-17 over five games in Arizona but hasn't played since May 20, which indicates that he experienced a setback at some point along the way.

Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Thursday that Morgan (elbow) is seeking a second opinion on his injury after he suffered a setback during his second rehab appearance with Triple-A Iowa on June 17, MLB.com reports.

Counsell didn't go into specifics regarding a treatment plan for Morgan, but the fact that the right-hander requires a second opinion suggests that surgery could be on the table. Morgan has been on the injured list since April 15 due to right elbow neuritis.
