Pfaadt (8-5) yielded four runs on six hits and a walk over five innings Sunday, striking out seven and taking a loss against Colorado.

Pfaadt was sharp through four shutout frames, allowing only two runners to reach scoring position during that span. The Rockies then piled on four runs in the fifth frame, capped off by Mickey Moniak's three-run shot. Pfaadt has now thrown fewer than six innings in six consecutive outings; during that stretch, he's produced a brutal 9.51 ERA, raising his season mark to 5.49. He threw 54 of 81 pitches for strikes and forced 13 whiffs during Sunday's loss. Pfaadt is lined up to face the Marlins at home next weekend.

Schmitt went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two additional runs scored in Sunday's 9-5 victory over the Red Sox.

The 26-year-old infielder drew his 13th start at third base and fueled the Giants offense with his first career MLB game of three runs scored. This performance also marks Schmitt's second career four-hit contest, with the first coming at Arizona on May 11, 2023. The San Diego State product has filled in admirably while Matt Chapman (hand) has been sidelined. Through 104 total plate appearances, Schmitt is slashing .286/.369/.462 with four homers, 15 RBI and 11 runs scored.

Elder (2-4) took the loss Sunday against the Marlins, allowing five runs on 10 hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

Elder's struggled of late, allowing nine runs on 17 hits across 8.2 innings in his last two outings. His ERA has jumped to 4.77 with a 1.33 WHIP and 55:20 K:BB across 12 starts (66 innings) this season. Despite his recent struggles, Elder is expected to remain in Atlanta's rotation with AJ Smith-Shawver (elbow) out for the year. He's currently lined up for a tough home matchup with the Phillies in his next outing.

Ray did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 9-5 win against Boston, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out seven.

The San Francisco southpaw conceded a season-worst eight base knocks in this 88-pitch outing over which he fired 61 strikes. Ray allowed two long balls -- solo homers to Romy Gonzalez and Ceddanne Rafaela -- in a start for the first time since his first appearance of the season at Cincinnati on March 30. Despite this unsteady performance, Ray remains one of the elite starting pitchers in the game. He will carry a 2.83 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 104:36 K:BB across 92.1 innings into his next start against the White Sox in Chicago next weekend.

Henriquez earned the save in Sunday's 5-3 win over Atlanta, allowing one hit while striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Henriquez allowed a leadoff single to Alex Verdugo to lead off the ninth, though he got Michael Harris to ground into a double play before striking out Sean Murphy to close out his second save this season. The Marlins have taken a committee approach to the ninth inning this year, and Henriquez has become one of their more trusted relief options. The 25-year-old right-hander has posted a 3.00 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP and 48:16 K:BB across 36 innings this year.

Alcantara (4-8) earned the win Sunday over Atlanta, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

After a rough start to the season, Alcantara looks to be turning things around, posting a 2.74 ERA in his last four outings (23 innings). Overall, the 29-year-old Alcantara has posted a 6.69 ERA with a 1.46 WHIP and 59:34 K:BB across 15 starts (74 innings) this year after missing the 2024 campaign following Tommy John surgery. Alcantara is currently slated to face the Diamondbacks on the road his next time out.

Falter (6-3) earned the win against the Rangers on Sunday, allowing three runs on six hits and five walks with one strikeout over 5.1 innings.

Falter held the Rangers to three runs despite throwing just 52 of 89 pitches for strikes and issuing five walks for the third time this season. After allowing only three earned runs and delivering four quality starts over six May outings, the southpaw has now surrendered 11 earned runs without completing six frames in any of his four June starts. He'll carry a 3.59 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 51:31 K:BB across 85.1 innings into a tough matchup with the Mets next weekend.

Pham went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Pham tied the game with a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning before adding RBI doubles in the fifth and seventh. It was a much-needed performance from the veteran outfielder, who entered Sunday just 2-for-20 over 10 games in June. For the season, he's slashing .209/.289/.247 with no home runs, 12 RBI, 13 runs scored and three steals across 180 plate appearances.

Horwitz went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Horwitz was a thorn in the Rangers' side all game, highlighted by a two-run double during the Pirates' five-run fifth inning. Over his past 10 games, the 27-year-old has hit safely eight times, collecting four doubles, three RBI and seven runs scored. He's slashing .245/.316/.349 with one home run, nine RBI and 14 runs scored across 117 plate appearances while primarily starting against right-handed pitching.

McGuire went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 14-6 loss to the Mariners.

Starting for a resting Carson Kelly, McGuire continued to serve as a very capable backup catcher. The veteran has gone deep four times already in only 12 games, helping push his OPS to .883. McGuire's career high in home runs is five, which he recorded across 30 games for the Blue Jays back in 2019. He may ultimately get bumped from the roster whenever Miguel Amaya (oblique) is able to return from the injured list, but McGuire is at least providing some short-term fantasy value on days when he's in the lineup.
