  • Jose Fernandez 1B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Jose Fernandez: Logs two doubles

Fernandez went 3-for-5 with two doubles and one RBI in Friday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Fernandez entered Friday just 1-for-17 over his last six games. The infielder was able to break out with a big game, and after Nolan Arenado (arm/groin) was plunked in the ninth inning, there's the possibility Fernandez will be needed to fill in at third base for a while longer. Fernandez is hitting .268 with a .677 OPS, three home runs, 15 RBI, 23 runs scored and six stolen bases across 49 contests this season.

  • Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Goes yard in loss

Perdomo went 3-for-6 with a solo home run, a double and three total runs scored in Friday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Perdomo's last long ball was May 1 versus the Cubs. In the 24 contests in between homers, he hit a meager .200 with five doubles and 11 RBI. The shortstop hasn't come close to replicating his breakout year from 2025 -- he's batting .232 with a .703 OPS, three homers, 21 RBI, 26 runs scored, nine doubles, three triples and eight stolen bases over 53 contests this season. While his numbers are down across the board, Perdomo still offers enough speed to be enticing in fantasy if he can get on base enough to use that skill.

  • Zac Gallen SP | ARI

Diamondbacks' Zac Gallen: Yields three homers Friday

Gallen allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out two over five innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Friday.

Gallen has been falling victim to the long ball more often lately with eight homers surrendered over his last five starts. The Mariners's J.P. Crawford had two of the homers while Julio Rodriguez swatted the other. May was an inconsistent month for Gallen -- he allowed four or more runs in four of his six starts. He's now at a 5.16 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 42:18 K:BB through 59.1 innings over 12 starts this season. The veteran right-hander's homer problems led to career-worst numbers in 2025, and he's trending in the wrong direction lately. Gallen is projected to make his next start at home in a tough matchup versus the Dodgers.

  • Kyle Schwarber DH | PHI

Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Clubs homer Friday

Schwarber went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Schwarber's blast got the Phillies on the board in the sixth inning, but it didn't turn into a comeback rally. He continues to lead the majors with 22 homers, and he has two long balls over seven games since he recovered from an illness. The veteran slugger is batting .238 with a .963 OPS, 39 RBI, 36 runs scored and a stolen base across 54 contests this season.

  • Zack Wheeler SP | PHI

Phillies' Zack Wheeler: Tagged for four homers

Wheeler (4-1) allowed four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Wheeler gave up four solo home runs in the contest. He gave up one in each of the first three innings and another in the fifth frame. The right-hander avoided putting too much other traffic on the bases to limit the damage, but the Phillies' offense didn't bail him out. Prior to this outing, Wheeler had given up just one homer in his first six starts of the campaign. He's at a 2.27 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 40:9 K:BB through 43.2 innings and, outside of the home run barrage Friday, looks to be in ace form after returning from a shoulder injury. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Padres.

  • Will Smith C | LAD

Dodgers' Will Smith: Goes yard in win

Smith went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

Smith has three extra-base hits (two homers, one double) over his last three contests. The catcher is batting a modest .235 (16-for-68) in May, but he's hit three of his six homers on the year during the month. He's hitting .255 with a .732 OPS, 23 RBI, 21 runs scored, four doubles and no stolen bases over 181 plate appearances this season.

  • Max Muncy 3B | LAD

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Pops solo shot

Muncy went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

Muncy battled a wrist injury earlier in the week. He went 0-for-4 on Wednesday versus the Rockies in his return to the lineup, but he was able to get back on track with a homer Friday. The third baseman had gone eight contests without a long ball prior to taking Zack Wheeler deep in the second inning. Muncy is now batting .253 with an .873 OPS, 13 homers, 20 RBI, 37 runs scored, six doubles and no stolen bases over 51 games this season. He's likely to continue functioning in a strong-side platoon role at the hot corner.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Lifts solo shot Friday

Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

This was Freeman's second consecutive game with a homer. He's gone deep four times over his last nine contests, a span in which he's hitting .367 (11-for-30) with four doubles and seven RBI. That stretch accounts for half of his eight homers this season, and he's batting .271 with an .839 OPS, 27 RBI, 28 runs scored, 15 doubles and two stolen bases over 54 contests.

  • Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Homers in three-hit game

Ohtani went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

Ohtani's surge from the middle of the month has cooled a bit, but he still has three homers among nine hits over his last eight games as a hitter. All three of those long balls have been solo shots. He's up to 10 homers, 31 RBI, 37 runs scored and six stolen bases while batting .279 with a .909 OPS across 244 plate appearances. It's taken a little longer than usual, but Ohtani's rate stats are trending up into his typical range after a slow start to the year at the dish.

  • Tanner Scott RP | LAD

Dodgers' Tanner Scott: Perfect for save Friday

Scott struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

Scott's scoreless streak is up to 12.1 innings, a span in which he has a 19:2 K:BB. The lefty reliever has functioned as the Dodgers' closer while Edwin Diaz (elbow) is on the shelf, though manager Dave Roberts takes a flexible approach with Scott that sometimes leads to him working earlier than the ninth inning. On the year, Scott has thrived in a variety of assignments, earning a 1.14 ERA, 0.59 WHIP and 28:3 K:BB over 23.2 innings while collecting five saves and five holds.
