Baldwin is batting fifth as the designated hitter Sunday against the Giants.

It's the 10th start in 11 games since Baldwin returned from the injured list in mid-June. The 25-year-old homered in his first game back from the oblique strain but overall has struggled, going 2-for-39 with a walk and 20 strikeouts. That poor stretch has lowered his OPS for the season from .931 to .813 through 58 contests.

Mack is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Mack went 1-for-7 with a walk and two runs while starting behind the plate in the first two games of the series. He'll be given a breather for the finale in St. Louis, clearing the way for Brian Navarreto to make a start at catcher.

The Rockies reinstated Beck (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque.

With no room for him in their crowded outfield, the Rockies will keep the 25-year-old in the minors after he recovered from a hamstring strain. Before being shelved May 18, Beck contributed a .183/.227/.305 slash line with one home run and two stolen bases over 88 big-league plate appearances while mostly serving as a short-side platoon player.

The Giants designated Kennedy for assignment Sunday.

Kennedy has his contract selected by the Giants in early June, but he barely saw the field with just eight plate appearances in seven games. The 27-year-old could head to Triple-A Sacramento if he passes through waivers unclaimed, though he'll also have the right to elect free agency.

McCarthy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

After producing a 1.065 OPS in 11 games since returning to the lineup following an illness, McCarthy will get a well-deserved afternoon off. The left-handed hitter will duck out of the starting nine while the Twins send Connor Prielipp to the bump for the series finale.

Shaw is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Shaw will head to the bench after he started in the first two games of the series and went 1-for-4 with two walks and two runs. Michael Conforto will replace Shaw in right field and bat seventh.

Kelly is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

He'll give way to Miguel Amaya behind the dish in the series finale. Kelly started at catcher in the first two tilts in Milwaukee and went 1-for-6 with two walks and a double.

The Cubs recalled Wicks from Triple-A Iowa, and he's expected to pitch in bulk relief behind opener Ryan Rolison during Sunday's game against the Brewers, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.

The left-hander made two starts for Chicago in late May and gave up 11 earned runs across 6.1 innings before being returned to Iowa. Wicks will now get another look in the majors, this time following an opener. In four starts at Triple-A since that brief stint in the big leagues, the 26-year-old surrendered 18 earned runs over 15.2 frames.

Kepler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Kepler will get a breather for the series finale after he started in left field Friday and Saturday following his reinstatement from an 80-game suspension. Lourdes Gurriel will start in left field Sunday, but Kepler appears likely to get a long look as a strong-side platoon player.

Moreno is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Adrian Del Castillo will receive a turn behind the plate while Moreno rests for the series finale. Moreno had started the last four contests, going 5-for-14 with two walks, two runs and an RBI while extending his hitting streak to a season-long 11 games.
