Doyle was removed from a start at Double-A Springfield on Wednesday due to a blister on his pitching hand, Benjamin Hochman of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Manager Patrick Anderson said after the contest that Doyle is "going to be fine," and he believes the left-hander will pitch again this season. Doyle was charged with two runs on one hit and two walks with five strikeouts over five-plus innings Wednesday before exiting. The top prospect is finishing off his first full pro season in style, collecting a 1.73 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 59:25 K:BB over 52 innings covering his last 10 starts.

Murphy is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Rays.

After drawing starts behind the plate in the first two games of the series, Murphy will take a seat for Thursday's finale. Drake Baldwin will do the catching as Atlanta tries to avoid the sweep.

Yastrzemski is absent from the lineup for Thursday's tilt against the Rays.

Yastrzemski manned left field in the first two games of the series, but he'll take a seat despite the Rays sending a righty (Nick Martinez) to the bump. Lane Thomas is covering left field and will bat sixth for Atlanta.

Albies is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Rays.

Albies is 2-for-23 (.087) over his last six games and is slashing just .195/.271/.305 since the beginning of August, so he will get a rare day off to regroup. Mauricio Dubon will fill in at second base in Albies' stead.

Stone (shoulder/biceps) resumed his rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, allowing three runs over two-thirds of an inning.

Stone went two weeks in between rehab appearances as he recovered from a minor biceps issue. He had pitched tremendously in his first four minor-league outings prior to Wednesday, yielding just two runs with an 18:1 K:BB in 11.2 frames. If he can rediscover that form, Stone could help the Dodgers down the stretch. The 27-year-old hasn't pitched in the majors since 2024 after undergoing shoulder surgery in October of that year and then experiencing a setback this spring.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after Wednesday's 14-1 win over the Reds that Ohtani (knee/biceps) will be placed on the 15-day injured list, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Ohtani returned to the lineup Monday following a four-game absence, but he felt more discomfort this week and will now be forced to the shelf due to his nagging knee and biceps injuries. As a two-way player, he will have to be placed on the 15-day IL as opposed to the 10-day IL, per MLB rules. The Dodgers will bring up top prospect Josue De Paula to take on the lion's share of the reps at designated hitter while Ohtani is out.

Schwarber went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in Wednesday's 11-8 win over the Astros.

Schwarber extended his hitting streak to five games Wednesday, tallying his most RBI since Aug. 9. Additionally, the star slugger has now gone yard four times during that streak. He's batting .242 with a major-league-leading 44 homers, 17 doubles, 90 walks and 88 runs scored over 525 at-bats.

De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 14-1 loss to the Dodgers.

De La Cruz's bat has been nearly unstoppable lately with homers in five straight games. Since Aug. 22, he has gone 31-for-69 (.449) with six homers and 13 RBI over 17 contests. The shortstop is up to a career-high 26 homers on the year while adding 70 RBI, 89 runs scored, 26 doubles, five triples, 25 stolen bases and an .873 OPS across 127 contests.

Lowder (6-10) allowed seven runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four over 3.1 innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Lowder gave up five extra-base hits (four doubles and a home run) during his short start. He looks to be running out of steam late in the season, having given up 25 runs (23 earned) across 25 innings over his last five games. Lowder is at a 5.81 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 94:49 K:BB across 119.1 innings through 26 outings (23 starts) this year. He is tentatively projected for a home rematch versus the Dodgers next week.

Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double, four total RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 14-1 win over the Reds.

Hernandez had gone just 4-for-27 (.148) over his previous 13 games, adding no extra-base hits or RBI during the power drought. He's now up to three homers and nine RBI over 30 contests this season. Hernandez continues to fill a utility role, and he's batting .222 with a .692 OPS across 68 plate appearances.
