McDonald (2-6) allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over 5.1 innings to take the loss versus Atlanta on Friday.

McDonald gave up a run in each of the second, third and fifth innings. This was his third consecutive losing start and his sixth defeat in his last seven games. He's given up 16 runs (14 earned) over 22 innings across five starts in June. That has inflated his ERA to 4.94 with a 1.35 WHIP and 45:19 K:BB over 51 innings across 10 starts this season. If McDonald continues to struggle, he could be relegated to the bullpen or sent down to Triple-A Sacramento. McDonald's next start is projected to be on the road in Arizona.

Treinen does not have any structural damage in his injured right elbow, per MLB.com.

Treinen landed on the injured list June 20 due to right elbow inflammation. He subsequently underwent imaging, which revealed only inflammation due to wear and tear. As such, Treinen could be back with the Dodgers' bullpen sometime in July.

Misiorowski (9-3) earned the win Friday, allowing one run on two hits and four walks over six innings in a 6-2 win over the Cubs. He struck out eight.

The hard-throwing righty didn't have his best command Friday, throwing 69 of 107 pitches for strikes while tying a season high with four free passes. Misiorowski still delivered a ninth straight quality start and has surrendered just five earned runs (0.74 ERA) with an 87:12 K:BB across 61 innings during that span. Another divisional matchup with the Reds awaits in Milwaukee next week.

Hernandez (hamstring) has played three rehab games with Triple-A Oklahoma City and has gone 3-for-11 with three home runs and six RBI.

Hernandez kicked off his rehab assignment June 23 and has since played three games, all in left field, in four days. Each of his three hits so far have left the park, and he's struck out only once across 11 plate appearances. Per MLB.com, Hernandez could return to the big-league Dodgers for the start of the team's series against the Athletics this Monday.

Snell (elbow) threw a 15-pitch bullpen session Friday, and manager Dave Roberts said it went well, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

The session was Snell's first proper bullpen since he underwent a NanoScope procedure on his left elbow May 19. Per MLB.com, the veteran lefty is expected to need at least four more bullpens before he's cleared to face hitters. That puts his timeline to return beyond the All-Star break, though it's possible he could be activated before the end of July.

Betts went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 7-1 loss to the Padres.

Betts opened the scoring in the second inning, but the Padres responded with seven unanswered runs. The shortstop has tapped into a bit more consistency and power at the plate lately. He's batting .375 (18-for-48) with four homers over his last 12 games, though he has just five total RBI in that span. He's now batting .231 with a .724 OPS, 10 homers, 22 RBI, 29 runs scored, seven doubles and a stolen base over 47 contests for the year.

Sasaki (3-5) allowed three runs on three hits, five walks and a hit batsman while striking out two over four-plus innings to take the loss versus the Padres on Friday.

The five walks matched his season high. Sasaki has regressed heavily in recent starts, giving up 13 runs over his last 14 innings, including four home runs. The right-hander is now at a 4.88 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 72:30 K:BB over 72 innings through 14 starts. Sasaki's strikeout upside is a plus, as is a lineup that can often give him enough run support to cover up mistakes. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to be a rematch at home versus the Padres next week.

France went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run, a walk and a hit-by-pitch in Friday's 7-1 win over the Dodgers.

France's second-inning blast answered a solo shot from Mookie Betts in the top of that same frame. This was France's second straight game with a homer, and four of his 10 long balls this year have come over his last seven games. For the season, the first baseman is batting .255 with an .810 OPS, 29 RBI, 20 runs scored, one stolen base, seven doubles and two triples over 179 plate appearances. As long as his bat is hot, France should be in the lineup most of the time.

Buehler (5-3) allowed one run on three hits and three walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings to earn the win Friday over the Dodgers.

Buehler put a bow on an unexpectedly dominant June by limiting one of his former teams to a Mookie Betts solo home run in the second inning. Across five starts in June, Buehler never allowed more than one run in any game. He gave up five runs and posted a 27:8 K:BB across 26.1 innings. He has just three quality starts this season because he continues to struggle pitching deep enough into games to meet the requirements, but he has turned things around after a lackluster first month of the campaign. The right-hander is at a 3.81 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 70:26 K:BB through 78 innings over 16 starts this season. Buehler's next start is projected to be on the road versus the Cubs.

Dotel (lat) will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Altoona on Saturday, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Dotel has been on the injured list with a right lat strain since June 13. It's unclear how many rehab appearances the Pirates will have him make, but he could be cleared to rejoin Pittsburgh's bullpen before the end of the month.
