Ortiz isn't expected to get promoted to the Nationals' big-league roster before at least the All-Star break, Spencer Nusbaum of The Athletic reports.

Acquired from the Rangers this offseason as part of the MacKenzie Gore trade, Ortiz is tearing up Triple-A right now, hitting safely in 10 straight games with a .381/.438/.952 slash line, seven homers and 23 RBI over that stretch. The Nationals could use some left-handed power on their bench, but they prefer to let the 24-year-old first baseman continue to get regular playing time rather than bringing him up in a reserve role.

Benge went 1-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Mariners.

The rookie outfielder pulled off a successful double steal with Juan Soto in the fourth inning, with Benge scampering home when Jhonny Pereda tried to throw Soto out at second base. It was Benge's 10th stolen base of the season in 59 games, to go along with a .252/.317/.381 slash line, six homers, 24 RBI and 31 runs.

Crow is slated to start Thursday's game against the Giants at American Family Field.

Crow will be awarded a second straight turn through the rotation after he took a no-decision in a four-inning start versus the Astros last Friday following his promotion from Triple-A Nashville. The 25-year-old righty has made three starts thus over three separate stints with Milwaukee, pitching to a 3.14 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB in 14.1 innings.

Ewing went 3-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Mariners.

The rookie center fielder produced the first three-hit performance of his brief MLB career. Ewing is showing flashes of his talent, but he's still adjusting to big-league pitching -- over the last 10 games he's slashing .256/.275/.282 with just one extra-base hit, a double, and a 1:13 BB:K.

Marsee went 1-for-1 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Nationals.

While he wasn't in the starting lineup against left-hander Andrew Alvarez, Marsee pinch hit for Esteury Ruiz in the sixth inning and took advantage of his opportunities. Marsee struggled to make a consistent impact at the plate to begin the season, but over his last 18 games he's slashing .263/.400/.404 with one home run, three of his career-high 15 steals, three RBI and 13 runs.

Ruiz went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Nationals.

With southpaw Andrew Alvarez on the mound for Washington, Ruiz got the start in center field and took him deep in the second inning to open the scoring, but the 27-year-old was replaced by Jakob Marsee in the sixth inning once Alvarez was out of the game. Ruiz is batting just .191 (9-for-47) so far as a Marlin, but seven of his nine hits have gone for extra bases -- including three homers -- and he's stolen eight bags in nine attempts, giving him some appeal as a bargain DFS option on days when he's in the lineup.

Faucher walked one and struck out one in a scoreless eighth inning Wednesday to record his fourth hold of the season in a win over the Nationals.

The right-hander was the bridge between an impressive outing by Max Meyer and closer Pete Fairbanks in the ninth. It was Faucher's first hold since April 27 as the rest of the Miami bullpen remains extremely volatile in terms of roles and usage. Over 25 appearances and 24 innings this season, Faucher also has four wins and a save while producing a 4.13 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 27:20 K:BB.

Lee walked one and struck out one in a scoreless seventh inning Wednesday to record his 11th hold of the season in a win over the Blue Jays.

The 31-year-old leads Atlanta in holds, and he's already got his career high of 19 in his sights. Lee is tracking toward the best season of his MLB career, producing a 1.26 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and 35:4 K:BB through 29 appearances and 28.2 innings as the primary left-handed setup man for closer Raisel Iglesias.

Atlanta transferred Murphy (finger) to the 60-day injured list Thursday.

The transaction frees a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of DaShawn Keirsey. Murphy is recovering from a fractured left middle finger and will not return until after the All-Star break.

Atlanta selected Keirsey's contract Thursday and optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Keirsey had an opt-out in his minor-league contract, and Atlanta decided to add him to the 40-man roster in order to prevent him from leaving. He's slashed .260/.298/.384 with four home runs and 16 stolen bases in 49 games with Gwinnett this season.
