Patrick allowed one earned run over 2.0 innings in Sunday's spring game against the Royals. He gave up two hits, struck out two batters and walked two.

Patrick was not particularly sharp in his spring debut, allowing four runners to reach base and throwing just 21 of his 41 pitches for strikes. Despite that, he remains firmly in the mix for a rotation spot, and he is a pitcher to keep an eye on after striking out 127 batters over 119.2 innings during the 2025 regular season and 11 more over 9.0 frames in the postseason.

The Tigers announced Monday that Briceno reported right wrist soreness coming out of his most recent spring appearance Saturday and is undergoing further medical evaluation, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Briceno is one of the Tigers' top prospects, but the 21-year-old catcher isn't on the 40-man roster and will be ticketed for Double-A Erie when healthy.

The Dodgers reassigned Hiura (hand) to minor-league camp Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Hiura saw action in eight games in the majors with the Rockies last season but never appeared to be a likely candidate to break camp with a loaded Dodgers squad. The 29-year-old exited his most recent Cactus League appearance Saturday after being hit on the hand by a pitch, but assuming he avoided any structural damage, he should be ready to go when Triple-A Oklahoma City opens its season in late March.

The Dodgers reassigned Gorski to minor-league camp Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Gorski reached the big leagues for the first time in 2025 and appeared in 15 games with the Pirates, but after being cut loose by Pittsburgh last July and then catching on with the Dodgers on a minor-league deal, he missed the rest of the season while recovering from a left hand injury. The 28-year-old first baseman didn't appear in any Cactus League games prior to being reassigned, so it's unclear if he's fully healthy at this point. Whenever he's deemed ready to play, Gorski will head to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Seager (illness) will start at shortstop and bat third in Monday's Cactus League game versus the Guardians.

Seager was scratched from the Rangers' lineup Friday and wound up missing a couple additional days of action due to illness, but he's ready to roll for Monday's tilt. The veteran shortstop is 1-for-7 with a 1:2 BB:K in the early going this spring.

The Dodgers reassigned Robinson to minor-league camp Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Robinson logged two plate appearances in the majors with the Dodgers last season, but after re-signing with the organization on a minor-league deal over the winter, he never seemed like a realistic candidate to crack the Opening Day roster. The journeyman backstop is expected to begin the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City and will likely need either Will Smith or Dalton Rushing to succumb to an injury before he gets another big-league call-up.

Bender (shin) will throw a couple more live batting practice sessions before making his Grapefruit League debut, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Bender is a bit behind schedule because of a shin issue, but he's on the mend. The veteran reliever faced hitters last week and will do so more times this week before being thrown into game action. Bender has plenty of time to ramp up for Opening Day.

Junk (ankle) is slated to make his Grapefruit League debut Saturday against the Astros, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Junk has been behind schedule after suffering a Grade 1 mild right ankle sprain early on in camp. He will throw one inning in Saturday's appearance before building up his workload from there. The right-hander is likely ticketed for a long-relief role with Miami.

The Reds reassigned Toglia to minor-league camp Monday.

Non-tendered by the Rockies in November after hitting just .190 with a 39.2 percent strikeout rate in 88 games in the majors last season, Toglia caught on with the Reds on a minor-league deal over the winter and received the chance to compete for a spot on the Opening Day roster. However, Toglia showed no signs of improving his poor contact rate during the early stages of Cactus League play, striking out in four of his nine at-bats. The 27-year-old switch-hitter should get the chance to play on an everyday basis at Triple-A Louisville to begin the season, but he'll likely need to cut down on his strikeouts before he gets another look in the majors.

Wacha allowed no hits or walks across two scoreless innings in Sunday's Cactus League win over the Brewers. He struck out three.

Wacha followed Sunday's starter, lefty Kris Bubic, and looked in control, recording three strikeouts and allowing no baserunners over two innings. The veteran right-hander bounced back from a shakier first Cactus League outing Tuesday, when he surrendered a run on three hits and three walks across two frames. Coming off a 2025 campaign in which he posted a 3.86 ERA and 1.22 WHIP over 31 starts and 172.2 innings -- his fourth consecutive season with an ERA below 4.00 -- Wacha will aim to remain a steady presence in the Royals' rotation entering 2026.
