Leahy yielded four runs on four hits and three walks over 2.2 innings in Sunday's Grapefruit League loss to the Pirates.

Leahy was immediately in hot water, giving up a leadoff double to start the game which was followed by a Konnor Griffin two-run home run. He needed 54 pitches to cover his 2.2 innings and recorded only one strikeout. The expectation is that Leahy will break camp as a member of the Cardinals' rotation, though he didn't help his case with Sunday's shaky outing.

Bolte went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Sunday's Cactus League win over the Reds.

Bolte collected a pair of singles as part of a strong offensive showing for the Athletics on Sunday. Following the game, manager Mark Kotsay said, "There's a lot of us in that coaches' room that think [Bolte] has the ability to be a real star. He continues to make progress each year, both on the physicality side and the baseball side of just being a better hitter," Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports. Kotsay added, "The tools, the talent and the ability all align with this kid having an impact in our organization, hopefully sooner than later." Bolte is likely to open the season at Triple-A Las Vegas, but the 22-year-old earning a call-up at some point in 2026 appears to be a very realistic possibility.

Ginn allowed one hit and two walks across three scoreless innings in Sunday's Cactus League win over the Reds. He struck out two.

Ginn turned in another solid outing and is now up to five scoreless innings across two appearances this spring. After topping out at 98 mph and averaging 96.9 mph on his sinker in his first appearance, the right-hander averaged 94.1 mph on the pitch Sunday with a high of 95.3 mph, still an improvement over last season's 93.4 mph average mark. The 26-year-old has been working out of the windup after pitching exclusively from the stretch last season, an adjustment he emphasized throughout the offseason that has shown early returns in Cactus League play, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports. Competing with Jacob Lopez (elbow), Luis Morales and Jack Perkins for a spot in the Athletics' rotation, Ginn is making a strong early impression this spring.

Williams allowed one run on two hits and struck out three over three innings in Sunday's spring start against Colorado.

Williams was taken deep by Brett Sullivan to lead off the game but then calmed down. He worked around a fielding error later in the first inning and then a single in the following inning before a clean third frame. Williams upped his pitch count to 44 (28 strikes) in his second Cactus League outing.

Langeliers went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double, three total RBI, an additional run scored and was hit by a pitch in Sunday's Cactus League win over the Reds.

Langeliers opened the scoring, launching an Andrew Abbott curveball to the opposite field for a two-run homer in the first inning before following it up with a blistering 111.8 mph RBI double to left field in the third inning. Through 14 plate appearances this spring, the catcher is slashing .333/.429/.750 with two doubles, one homer and three RBI. Coming off a breakout 2025 campaign in which he posted an .861 OPS with 32 doubles and 31 homers across 123 games, the 28-year-old will look to carry that momentum into the 2026 regular season.

DeLauter started at designated hitter and went 2-for-2 with a double and a two-run home run in Sunday's spring game against the Rockies.

DeLauter was back on the field after being scratched from a game last Wednesday due to lower-body soreness. The Guardians plan to be mindful of the workload placed on DeLauter, who has missed extended time in each of the last three seasons in the minors. He was removed after two plate appearances. In three Cactus League games, DeLauter is 5-for-8 with two doubles, one homer and three RBI.

Soroka allowed three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out one over 1.2 innings in Sunday's spring start against the Guardians.

Soroka was on the bump for the second time in the Cactus League and lamented to Jose M. Romero of the Arizona Republic that he was trying to be too perfect with his pitches. That is evidenced by the 25 balls he through among his 47 pitches. This was Soroka's final outing before leaving camp for the World Baseball Classic, where the right-hander will participate for Team Canada. His eventual role for Arizona -- starter or reliever -- depends on the health of Merrill Kelly (back).

Carroll (hand) said Sunday that he's been able to reusme swinging a bat with both hands, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Carroll has taken small steps since undergoing surgery Feb. 11 on his right hand. He had previously been swinging only with the left hand, but he has now moved to a two-handed swing. He also shagged fly balls with his hand feeling good enough to catch the ball. Carroll won't play for Team USA during the upcoming World Baseball Classic but remains optimistic he'll be ready to go by Opening Day.

Ginkel allowed two hits and struck out two over a scoreless inning in Sunday's spring game against Cleveland.

Ginkel made his spring debut in the fourth inning, when some projected members of the Guardians' Opening Day roster were in the game. He was one of the names mentioned by Arizona manager Torey Lovullo as a potential closer. Along with Ginkel, the manager mentioned Paul Sewald and Ryan Thompson, who pitched the third inning of Sunday's game.

Thompson struck out one over a hitless and scoreless inning in Sunday's spring game against Cleveland.

This was the second Cactus League appearance for the side-arming Thompson, who is in the mix to pick up save opportunities for the Diamondbacks. He entered Sunday's game in the third inning -- just like his first outing Feb. 26 -- when the opponent's regulars were still in the game. Thompson was immediately followed by Kevin Ginkel, another reliever that could get save chances. Arizona's closer situation is not resolved and could be a committee solution to start the regular season.
