Rogers (5-7) picked up the win Friday, allowing one run on five hits over 6.1 innings in a 3-1 victory over the Nationals. He struck out seven without walking a batter.

The southpaw delivered his second straight win and third straight quality start on 87 pitches (65 strikes) as he continues to put a shaky first couple months of 2026 behind him. Over five starts in June, Rogers has locked in and produced a 2.05 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 23:6 K:BB over 30.2 innings. He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the White Sox.

Alvarez (1-1) took the loss Friday as the Nationals were downed 3-1 by the Orioles, giving up two runs on six hits and three walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out five.

The 27-year-old didn't pitch poorly, although he needed 88 pitches (53 strikes) to record 13 outs, but Alvarez didn't get much help as the Nats' offense was held in check by Trevor Rogers. Alvarez has yet to complete five innings in any of his 10 big-league appearances (five starts) this season, making him tough to roster in fantasy formats any time he gets a traditional start rather than working behind an opener, but over 21 innings in June he's produced a 3.00 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB.

Eovaldi (8-7) earned the win Friday against the Blue Jays, giving up five hits and one walk while striking out nine batters over seven shutout innings.

The Rangers' offense gave Eovaldi a 3-0 lead to work with before he threw his first pitch of the game, and he did everything he could to prevent the Blue Jays from closing the gap. The 36-year-old righty didn't allow more than one baserunner in an inning until his final two frames, but he managed to escape both jams without allowing a run, thanks to a double-play ball from Vladimir Guerrero in the sixth and a couple of timely strikeouts to finish the seventh. Eovaldi has now logged three consecutive wins and quality starts while posting a 24:3 K:BB across 20 innings in that span, giving him plenty of momentum heading into his next start against Cleveland.

Duran started at shortstop and went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI in Friday's 5-4 win over Toronto.

Duran participated in Texas' three-run first inning with an RBI single and later stole his sixth base of the season. He stepped in at shortstop with Corey Seager getting a break after Seager returned from the injured list Thursday. With Seager in good health, Duran will still find his way into lineup at a number of positions, including second base, third base, DH or left field.

Griffin went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Reds.

Activated from the IL earlier in the day after missing nearly a month due to a flexor strain, Griffin quickly demonstrated that he was fully recovered when he crushed the second pitch he saw from Andrew Abbott over the fence in left-center field. The precocious shortstop is slashing .275/.333/.420 through his first 52 big-league games with five homers, 14 steals, 23 RBI and 31 runs.

Skenes came away with a no-decision Friday, giving up four runs on six hits and two walks over five innings as the Pirates fell 6-4 to the Reds. He struck out seven.

All four runs against the right-hander came in a rough second inning that saw the first five Cincinnati hitters reach base before Skenes finally recorded outs on back-to-back sacrifice flies. It's the first time since May 23 that Skenes has been tagged for more than two earned runs, and through five starts in June he's delivered a 3.58 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 39:8 K:BB through 27.2 innings. He'll look for his first win since May 12 in his next outing, which lines up to come on the road next week in Philadelphia.

Abbott didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-4 win over the Pirates, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits -- including three home runs -- and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out six.

The southpaw was able to limit the damage despite being taken deep by Konnor Griffin in the first inning and Marcell Ozuna and Esmerlyn Valdez in the sixth, with Abbott leaving a 4-4 tie after 94 pitches (64 strikes). It's the first time in five June starts that Abbott's served up multiple homers, but on the season he's been tagged for 15 long balls in just 90 innings to fuel what would be a career-worst 3.90 ERA. He'll try to tighten things up in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Milwaukee.

Foscue served as the designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jays.

Foscue was prominent early, delivering a run on a first-inning single before launching a two-run homer in the third. This was Foscue's first appearance in the starting lineup in 11 games.

McGonigle went 1-for-2 with two walks, two runs scored and two stolen bases in Friday's 8-0 win over the Astros.

The 21-year-old infielder set the table for the rout from the leadoff spot as he continues to enjoy a spectacular MLB debut. McGonigle has hit safely in 11 of the last 12 games, batting .311 (14-for-45) over that span with a .415 OBP, and on the season he's produced a .284/.391/.426 slash line with six homers, 11 steals, 28 RBI and 49 runs in 79 contests.

Montero (4-5) picked up the win in Friday's 8-0 victory over the Astros, scattering five hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings. He struck out three.

With his mind on the devastation back home after two recent earthquakes, the Venezuelan right-hander produced one of his best outings of the season en route to his seventh quality start of 2026. Montero fired 70 of 96 pitches for strikes, and Houston didn't even get a runner past second base until his final frame. Over five appearances (four starts) in June, Montero sports a 2.70 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 13:3 K:BB in 26.2 innings. Jack Flaherty (ankle) is expected to come off the IL this weekend with Justin Verlander (hamstring) potentially not far behind him, so the Tigers' rotation could get very crowded ahead of the All-Star break, but for now Montero is set to make his next start on the road next week against the Rangers.
