Marquez (forearm) threw live batting practice Thursday, and his next step will be a minor-league rehab appearance, per MLB.com.

Marquez last saw game action May 1, when he allowed seven runs over five innings in a loss against the White Sox. The veteran hurler landed on the injured list two days later due to right forearm nerve irritation, but he was able to resume a throwing program in mid-May. It appears Marquez is now just about ready to take part in a rehab stint, though it's unclear how many appearances he'll need before he's ready to be activated.

Jung went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Royals.

The third baseman took Seth Lugo deep in the first inning, and his last hit of the afternoon came as part of Texas' three-run rally in the ninth inning to walk it off. It was Jung's seventh homer of the season and second in the last three games, and over 25 games in May he's batting .307 (31-for-101) with six RBI and 15 runs scored.

Rocker didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Royals, allowing three hits and three walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out two.

The right-hander blanked Kansas City over 85 pitches (52 strikes) and left the mound with Texas up 3-0, but Rocker's potential third win of the season slipped away as things got wild in the final frames. He settled for his fourth quality start of 2026 and has delivered three scoreless appearances in his past four outings. Rocker will take a 3.54 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 44:25 K:BB through 56 innings into his next trip to the mound, which is set to come at home next weekend against the Guardians.

Gilbert went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a double in a loss to the Rockies on Saturday.

Colorado got off to an 8-0 lead before Gilbert finally put the Giants in the scoring column with a two-run blast in the eighth inning. The long ball was his first since April 25 -- a span of 29 games. Gilbert batted just .227 during the power drought, recording only five RBI and no stolen bases. With just six home runs and one theft through 225 career MLB plate appearances, Gilbert hasn't warranted much attention in fantasy.

Jensen went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Saturday's 7-6 loss to the Rangers.

The 22-year-old backstop got the Royals on the board in the top of the seventh inning with an RBI single before launching a two-run homer off Chris Martin in the following frame to give his team a 6-3 lead, but the bullpen couldn't make it stick. Jensen's long ball was his seventh of the season but his first since April 22, snapping a 29-game drought in which he'd slashed a meager .183/.271/.247 with six doubles and nine RBI.

McCarthy went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, three total runs, four total RBI and a stolen base in an 8-3 win against the Giants on Saturday.

McCarthy was both a table setter and a run producer from atop the lineup. The speedy outfielder opened the Rockies' half of the first inning with a walk and eventually came around to score. He added a two-run homer in the fourth and RBI singles in the fifth and seventh frames. McCarthy has logged multiple hits in four of his past six contests and is batting .375 (9-for-24) over that span. He's enjoying a nice first season in Colorado, slashing .288/.331/.453 with three homers, 18 runs, 23 RBI and 10 stolen bases through 48 games.

Erceg (3-3) blew the save and took the loss Saturday, surrendering three runs on five hits while failing to record an out as the Royals fell 7-6 to the Rangers.

Tasked with protecting a 6-4 lead in the ninth inning, Erceg instead served up a leadoff homer to Joc Pederson followed by four straight singles -- the last being an Ezequiel Duran line drive to right field that brought home Brandon Nimmo for the winning run. It was Erceg's fifth blown save of the season, including three in his last four chances, and he's given up multiple runs in three straight appearances to balloon his ERA from 3.26 to 6.33. Even with Carlos Estevez (shoulder) still lacking a clear timeline for his return, the Royals may have no choice but to audition other closing options in Erceg's place.

Montgomery went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Saturday against the Tigers.

Montgomery blasted a solo home run in the eighth inning to put the White Sox up 5-1. It was his 14th home run of the season, and his first since May 16 -- a span of 12 starts. He also hit .191 in that span with just three RBI and four runs scored. Even with that downturn in recent production, Montgomery has a 126 wRC+ on the season with 35 RBI and 27 runs scored across 56 games.

Lugo didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 7-6 loss to the Rangers, giving up three runs (one earned) on six hits over six innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.

The veteran righty reeled off his third straight quality start and eighth of the season on 90 pitches (64 strikes), but Lugo watched his potential third win of the year slip away when Lucas Erceg fell apart in the ninth inning. Lugo will take a 3.55 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 60:23 K:BB through 71 innings into his next outing, which is set to come on the road next week in Minnesota.

Houser (2-5) took the loss against Colorado on Saturday, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 3.2 innings.

Houser had a rough first inning, giving up two runs on two singles, two walks and a hit batsman. He recovered to record a 1-2-3 second, but the Rockies got to him for six more hits and two more runs before he was pulled with two outs in the fourth frame. Of the eight hits Houser allowed, seven were singles, but the one extra-base knock was a two-run homer off the bat of Jake McCarthy. Houser won back-to-back starts in mid-May, but over his subsequent two outings he's given up seven runs on 15 hits over just 8.1 innings. His next start is lined up to be a road matchup in Milwaukee.
