Morel isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Nationals.

Morel will get a breather Saturday after making three consecutive starts, a span in which he went 0-for-10 with a walk and three strikeouts. Liam Hicks will work as the Marlins' designated hitter with Morel on the bench while Connor Norby starts at first and Leo Jimenez covers third.

The Astros recalled Murray from Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Julia Morales of Space City Home Network reports.

Murray was optioned to Triple-A on Sunday, but he'll now return to the big-league bullpen to replace Bennett Sousa (elbow), who landed on the IL on Saturday. Murray will likely be limited to middle-relief duties after giving up four earned runs over six innings during his first four appearances with the Astros this year.

The Astros placed Sousa on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to left elbow inflammation, Julia Morales of Space City Home Network reports.

After missing the first month of the season with an oblique injury, Sousa is now set to sit out another couple of weeks due to an elbow issue, though it remains unknown whether he'll require more than a minimum-length stay on the shelf. Jayden Murray was recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land to fill the void in Houston's bullpen.

The Giants selected Porter's contract from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday, Ari Alexander of 7 News Boston reports.

The Giants have an open spot on their roster for a catcher after trading away Patrick Bailey on Saturday, so Porter will get the call to return to the big leagues. The 30-year-old backstop has spent the entire season in the minors and owns just a .520 OPS through 42 plate appearances. He'll likely serve as a depth piece behind Jesus Rodriguez until Daniel Susac (elbow) returns from the injured list.

The Twins recalled Adams from Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Adams will rejoin the big club as the roster replacement for Taj Bradley, who landed on the injured list Saturday with right pectoral inflammation. Adams posted a 7.49 ERA in 33.2 innings with the Twins last season and has surrendered six earned runs over six frames in Triple-A this year. He'll likely be limited to low-leverage situations while in the majors.

Bradley allowed two earned runs while making it through six innings during his last outing against the Nationals on Tuesday, but he appears to have come away from his appearance with a pectoral injury. He'll be eligible to return from the IL ahead of the Twins' series opener against Boston on May 22, though it remains unknown whether the right-hander will be ready by then. Travis Adams was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul to provide extra bullpen depth, but another move will likely be required before Bradley's spot in the rotation comes up Sunday.

Narvaez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Narvaez has been starting approximately every other day since the beginning of the month. Mickey Gasper will get the nod at catcher and bat sixth.

The Blue Jays optioned Pinango to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday.

Pinango impressed during his first stint in the majors, going 11-for-26 (.423) with four RBI and a run scored in 10 games. Despite his strong performance, he'll be pushed off the active roster by Addison Barger's (ankles) return from the injured list. If Toronto's outfield depth is tested again later in the year, Pinango will be one of the top candidates to rejoin the big club.

The Blue Jays reinstated Barger (ankle) from the injured list Saturday.

Barger has been sidelined by ankle issues since early April, but he's been playing in minor-league rehab games since Sunday. The 26-year-old went 2-for-9 with a pair of homers and three RBI during his three-game assignment and will now reclaim his role as Toronto's primary right fielder. Yohendrick Pinango was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move.

Hayes isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game versus Houston.

Hayes will get a day off Saturday after going just 3-for-20 with two RBI, one run scored and seven strikeouts since the beginning of May. His absence will give Sal Stewart a start at the hot corner, moving Spencer Steer to first base and opening up right field for Will Benson.
