Garcia was removed in the top of the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Brewers due to right wrist soreness.

Curtis Mead checked into the game at first base in place of Garcia, who went 0-for-2 with a strikeout prior to his exit. The Nationals could have an update on Garcia's condition after the game, but for the time being, he can be viewed as day-to-day heading into Tuesday's series opener versus the Twins.

Suarez was removed from Sunday's start against the Astros due to an apparent injury, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

The left-hander threw 70 pitches over four scoreless frames before exiting the contest, so he's likely dealing with an injury even though an official announcement has yet to be made. Suarez's availability for his next turn through the rotation will remain up in the air until more information is available.

Willi Castro will step in at third base in place of Karros, who has a modest four-game hitting streak going but has cobbled together an underwhelming .213/.339/.277 slash line over 115 plate appearances on the season.

The Padres activated Canning (Achilles) from the 15-day injured list in advance of his scheduled start Sunday against the White Sox.

Canning is ready to make his 2026 MLB debut after completing a five-outing rehab assignment, which signaled the end of his journey back from Achilles surgery last June. The right-hander built up to five innings and 68 pitches during his final rehab appearance with Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday, so he'll likely have some workload limitations in his first outing with the Padres.

Harris is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Harris appears to have moved past the left quadriceps tightness that kept him on the bench Thursday and Friday, but Atlanta will rest him for Sunday's day game while Colorado sends southpaw Kyle Freeland to the bump. Mauricio Dubon will draw the start in center field.

Yastrzemski is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Ronald Acuna (hamstring) landed on the injured list Sunday, but his absence may not change Yastrzemski's role as a strong-side platoon option. Yastrzemski will be on the bench for the fourth time in the last five games Sunday, with Atlanta facing lefty starters in each of those contests.

Raleigh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals due to right side soreness and is considered day-to-day, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Raleigh was sent for an MRI after being scratched from the lineup Saturday due to unspecified soreness, which the Mariners have now identified, but the American League MVP runner-up has indicated that his injured side is already feeling better, per Divish. Raleigh was able to take some swings in the batting cage earlier Sunday, but he's unlikely to get used as a pinch hitter in the series finale versus Kansas City. He could return to the lineup Monday against Atlanta, however, either at catcher or designated hitter.

Langeliers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians in order to be with his wife following the birth of their child, Jason Burke of SI.com reports.

It doesn't sound as though Langeliers is heading to the paternity list, with Sunday's game off followed by a team off day Monday. Tyler Soderstrom will serve as the Athletics' emergency catcher Sunday with backup Austin Wynns starting behind the plate.

The Mets selected Brujan's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.

The addition of Brujan gives the Mets another option at shortstop beyond Bo Bichette after Ronny Mauricio (thumb) joined Francisco Lindor (calf) on the 10-day injured list Sunday. Though Bichette has played almost exclusively at third base this season, he has plenty of experience at shortstop and will start at the position Sunday in Anaheim. If the Mets are comfortable enough with Bichette's defense at shortstop, Brujan will fill a utility role while he's up in the majors and won't be in store for regular reps.
