Reynolds performed well in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League at Triple-A El Paso to the tune of a 2.86 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 28.1 innings. However, he finished the regular season with a 5.33 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in the majors and will now have to seek out his next opportunity in free agency. No matter where he lands, the 27-year-old righty doesn't project to serve as more than a middle reliever.

The Cardinals non-tendered Pozo on Friday.

Pozo signed a minor-league contract with the Cardinals in January and was a permanent member of the big club's roster in early April after being called up from Triple-A Memphis. He spent most of the 2025 season as the backup catcher behind Ivan Herrera (elbow) and Pedro Pages, and across 67 regular-season games, Pozo posted a .637 OPS with 16 runs scored, five home runs and 19 RBI in 168 plate appearances. Now that he's a free agent, Pozo should receive interest from teams looking to add depth at catcher.

Brennan (elbow) was non-tendered by the Guardians on Friday, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Brennan had an injury-plagued 2025 season, managing a total of only 159 plate appearances between both Triple-A and the majors. He's rehabbing from Tommy John surgery but has a chance to be ready for the start of spring training.

The Padres non-tendered Cruz on Friday.

Cruz gave up two runs over 3.2 innings during his brief stint with the Padres in April, but most of his time was spent at Triple-A El Paso, where he put up a 4.75 ERA and 1.58 WHIP over 83.1 innings. He'll now have a chance to join another organization that can offer a clearer path back to the majors, though he likely wouldn't serve as anything more than a middle reliever.

Festa agreed to a one-year, $1 million contract with the Guardians on Friday to avoid arbitration, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Festa pitched a career-high 54.2 innings in 2025 while also maintaining a solid 1.08 WHIP with a 56:15 K:BB. He also racked up 12 holds and should line up for a high-leverage role out of the bullpen once again in 2026.

Fry (face) agreed to a one-year, $1.38 million contract with the Guardians on Friday to avoid arbitration, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Fry had a tough 2025 season, as he was initially sidelined until the end of May while recovering from an elbow injury. His season ended in late September after being hit in the face by a pitch, though that isn't expected to affect his 2026 campaign. In between, Fry struggled to a .171/.229/.363 line across 157 plate appearances.

The Cardinals did not tender King a contract for 2026 on Friday, making him a free agent.

King posted a 2.85 ERA for St. Louis in 2024 and appeared poised for a high-leverage role last season, but he failed to take advantage and finished 2025 with a 4.66 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 28:14 K:BB over 48.1 innings.

The Rockies non-tendered Toglia on Friday.

After finishing the 2024 season with a .767 OPS, Toglia's offensive production dropped dramatically in 2025, as he finished the year slashing .190/.258/.353 across 337 plate appearances. Most of the 27-year-old's struggles came on the road, as he posted just a .481 OPS across 178 plate appearances away from Coors Field, which doesn't exactly help his chances of finding regular big-league work with any of the other 29 clubs.

Haggerty agreed to a one-year contract with the Rangers on Friday, avoiding arbitration.

Haggerty inked a minor-league deal with Texas in February and was up in the big leagues six weeks into the regular season. The 31-year-old primarily worked in a utility role and had a .253/.328/.370 slash line with 12 steals and 31 runs in 181 plate appearances.

Jones (oblique) agreed to a one-year, $2 million contract with the Guardians on Friday to avoid arbitration, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Jones' season regular-season ended a few days early due to an oblique injury, an issue that also sidelined him for the postseason. He spent the entire 2025 season in the majors and accrued 403 plate appearances, though he managed only a .600 OPS with five homers and eight stolen bases.
