Bohm went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Dodgers.

The third baseman brought homer Bryce Harper with a first-inning single, but the Phillies' offense went quiet the rest of the way despite Bohm's best efforts. He's reeled off three multi-hit performances in the last four games, but on the season his weak .222/.281/.364 slash line makes him a prime candidate to get replaced at the trade deadline if Philadelphia can find an upgrade.

Wheeler (10-2) took the loss Tuesday as the Phillies fell 2-1 to the Dodgers, allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings. He struck out nine without walking a batter.

The veteran right-hander fired 63 of 93 pitches for strikes en route to his 12th quality start of the season, and Wheeler's only real mistake resulted in a two-run homer by Max Muncy in the fourth inning. His offense couldn't get much done to support him, however. It was Wheeler's first loss since May 29, and over nine starts since he's delivered a 2.08 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 77:13 K:BB over 56.1 innings. He'll look to get back in the win column in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week in Miami.

Triolo is out of the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Yankees.

When Konnor Griffin moved back to the injured list earlier this month after suffering a torn tendon in his left ring finger, Triolo settled back in as the Pirates' everyday shortstop. However, the Pirates' recent acquisition of Jacob Gonzalez looks like it could result in Triolo moving into more of a utility infield role. Triolo will hit the bench for the second time in five contests while Gonzalez receives the nod at shortstop for the first game of the day.

Muncy went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Phillies.

The veteran third baseman took Zack Wheeler deep in the fourth inning for the Dodgers' only offense of the night, but Justin Wrobleski and the bullpen made it hold up. It was Muncy's 19th homer of the season and second in five games since the All-Star break, and per Sonja Chen of MLB.com, he's now tied with Ron Cey for fifth on the franchise's all-time list with 228, with Hall of Famers Duke Snider (389), Gil Hodges (361) and Roy Campanella (242) sitting ahead of Muncy along with more recent star Eric Karros (270).

Schuemann is out of the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Pirates.

Schuemann appeared to be gaining more traction in the Yankees' everyday lineup heading into the All-Star break, but he now seems to have settled back into a reserve role. He'll be on the bench for the fourth time in five games while the Yankees have opened up more playing time for Paul Goldschmidt at his expense.

Goldschmidt is absent from the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Pirates.

Ben Rice will handle first base, and Spencer Jones will grab a start at designated hitter. Goldschmidt will likely be back in the lineup for the second game of the twin bill.

Scott gave up two hits and struck out two over 1.2 scoreless innings Tuesday to record his 15th save of the season in a 2-1 win over the Phillies.

The southpaw continues to be effective in the closer role while the Dodgers wait for Edwin Diaz (elbow) to get cleared to return from the IL, something that could happen as soon as this weekend. Scott has been scored upon just once in his last 13 appearances dating back to June 11, posting a 1.98 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 21:2 K:BB in 13.2 innings over that stretch.

The Pirates recalled Murdock from Triple-A Indianapolis ahead of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Yankees.

Pittsburgh has designated Murdock as its 27th man for the twin bill, so he'll likely be headed back to Indianapolis on Thursday. The 27-year-old righty has turned in a 3.24 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 26:5 K:BB in 16.2 innings out of the Triple-A bullpen this season.

Wrobleski (11-2) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over 6.1 innings in a 2-1 victory over the Phillies. He struck out seven.

The left-hander got tagged for a run in the bottom of the first inning after a Bryce Harper double and an Alec Bohm single, but Wrobleski shut down the home squad for the rest of his outing, eventually leaving the mound after 89 pitches (59 strikes). The quality start was Wrobleski's 12th of the year and his fifth straight, a stretch in which he's delivered a 1.89 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 35:5 K:BB in 33.1 innings. He's set to make his next start at home early next week against the Mariners.

Smith struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 29th save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Twins.

The 27-year-old closer fanned Kody Clemens as he extended his MLB saves lead, with the Padres' Mason Miller, the Rays' Bryan Baker and the Cardinals' Riley O'Brien tied for second with 25. Smith has allowed an earned run in only one of his last 10 appearances, and on the season he's produced a 2.72 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 66:11 K:BB over 46.1 innings.
