DeRozan will sign a three-year, $76 million contract with the Kings after Sacramento agreed to a sign-and-trade with the Bulls and the Spurs, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN of ESPN reports. The deal will be a three-team agreement, and while it appears the Kings will win this trade on paper, they will also send Harrison Barnes to San Antonio and then Chris Duarte plus two second-round picks and cash to Chicago. The presence of DeRozan should make the Kings a true contender in the Western Conference, as he'll form a Big Three with De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. DeRozan averaged 24.0 points, 5.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds during the 2023-24 campaign across 79 regular-season appearances.

DeRozan ended Friday's 112-91 Play-In Game loss to the Heat with 22 points (8-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 41 minutes. DeRozan did his part as his squad looked to advance to the opening round of the postseason, knocking down 50.0 percent of his tries from the field while contributing on the defensive end. He went on an impressive run to end the 2023-24 campaign, averaging 29.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.5 steals over his last six appearances.

DeRozan ended with 22 points (10-19 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal over 44 minutes during Wednesday's 131-116 Play-In Game victory over the Hawks. DeRozan put together another successful year during his third season with the Bulls. Perhaps the biggest feather in DeRozan's cap is his attendance record, as he's played at least 74 games per season over three years in Chicago. The veteran will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, and the Bulls will likely make a competitive offer unless another team presents an irresistible package. For the time being, DeRozan's focus will be on advancing with a win against Miami.

DeRozan chipped in 30 points (11-24 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and four steals over 44 minutes during Sunday's 120-119 overtime loss to the Knicks. The Bulls entered Sunday's slate locked in the ninth seed and ready to face the Hawks in the Play-in Tournament, but that didn't seem to matter for rest purposes. Most of the starters handled their regular workload, and that resulted in them delivering solid numbers across the board. DeRozan was the team's leading scorer and registered his fourth consecutive game with 30 or more points, a good omen ahead of the Play-In matchup against the Hawks on Wednesday. He recorded 30 or more points in 16 different games over the course of the season.

DeRozan (rest) isn't on the injury report for Sunday's game versus the Knicks. DeRozan will return to action Sunday after missing Chicago's previous contest for rest purposes. Ayo Dosunmu (quadriceps) is the only Bulls' starter in danger of missing the team's regular-season finale.
