Powell had 29 points (12-16 FG, 5-7 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 144-107 win over the Jazz. Even though James Harden stole the show with his 41-point performance, there's no question that Powell made his presence felt with an efficient shooting display -- he missed just four of his 16 shots from the field. Powell hasn't missed a beat since a six-game absence due to a hamstring problem between Nov. 20 and Nov. 29, and he's scored at least 28 points in three of his five December outings.

Powell supplied 16 points (6-14 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes during Friday's 120-98 loss to Denver. Powell remains one of the most consistent scoring weapons for the Clippers, and the veteran forward has surpassed the 15-point mark in his four appearances since returning from a six-game absence between Nov. 20 and Nov. 29 due to a hamstring injury. Powell is having a career-best season as a starter and is averaging 23.2 points per game in 2024-25. He's also shooting a career-high 47.4 percent from three-point range.

Powell (hamstring) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Rockets. Head coach Ty Lue said after Saturday's practice that he expects Powell to play Sunday, and his absence from the injury report indicates he should be good to go, per Joey Linn of SI.com. Powell played in two games earlier in the week after a seven-game absence due to a left hamstring injury and averaged 29.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds over 25.0 minutes per contest.

Powell ended with 30 points (11-15 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds and five assists over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 127-105 win over Portland. Powell seems to have left his hamstring issues behind him, and the forward continues to have a career-best season after another dominant display on the offensive end of the court. Powell has scored 28 and 30 points in his two games after returning from a six-game absence while shooting 20-for-32 from the field. He remains on pace to deliver the best season of his career while pulverizing several previous career-high marks.
