Fournier and Olympiacos have agreed to a three-year contract, Eurohoops reports. After 12 seasons in the NBA, Fournier is headed overseas, where he will become a featured player for Olympiacos. In 704 career regular-season NBA games, Fournier posted averages of 13.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 three-pointers while shooting 44.1 percent from the field.

Fournier had 10 points (2-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound and one assist for France in Friday's 85-71 loss to Germany. Fournier was one of three France players who scored in double digits in the loss, joining Victor Wembanyama and Isaia Cordinier. Even though his final stat line wasn't exactly eye-popping, Fournier should remain one of France's most reliable offensive weapons in the knockout stage. A strong showing in the Olympics could entice an NBA team to take a gamble on Fournier before the start of training camp.

The Pistons declined Fournier's $19 million team option Friday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. The move was fully anticipated, as Fournier had fallen well short of expectations since joining the Knicks on a three-year, $54 million deal in August 2021 as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Celtics. The veteran wing was outside of the New York rotation before being dealt to Detroit prior to the deadline. He then averaged 7.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 triples across 18.7 minutes in 29 games with the team. He'll likely have to settle for a one-year deal -- perhaps at the veteran's minimum -- if he's to keep his NBA career going.

Fournier finished with 21 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 120-102 loss to the 76ers. Fournier returned from a one-game absence due to a sore right knee. He led the bench in scoring Tuesday, and he finished behind only Jaden Ivey in that category. Fournier's 21 points marked a season high for the 12-year veteran, and his playing time has waxed and waned since joining the Pistons at the trade deadline. He could see more action for Thursday's game against the Bulls if Cade Cunningham (knee) continues to miss time.

Fournier (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the 76ers. Fournier was previously considered probable due to right knee soreness. In 25 appearances for Detroit, Fournier has averaged 6.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 three-pointers in 17.7 minutes.
