Plumlee provided four points (1-2 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes during Sunday's 115-106 loss to the Nuggets. Plumlee saw extended minutes Sunday due to the absence of Moussa Diabate (knee) and did a fine job backing up rookie Ryan Kalkbrenner. If Diabate returns for the Hornets' next game Friday against Chicago, Plumlee will revert to the third-string center and may not even see the court.

Plumlee is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Knicks. No surprise here, given that rookie standout Ryan Kalkbrenner is back in the lineup for the Hornets. Plumlee has averaged 1.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 9.6 minutes per contest over six games this month, leaving him with little to no fantasy appeal Wednesday.

Plumlee will start Sunday's game against Atlanta, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. With Ryan Kalkbrenner (ankle) sidelined, Plumlee will get the starting nod for the first time this season. The veteran big man has played a limited role thus far, and he has averaged just 7.0 minutes per contest over his last five appearances dating back to Nov. 2.

Charlotte recalled Plumlee from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday. Plumlee is back with Charlotte after spending the afternoon with the Swarm to get some practice reps alongside LaMelo Ball (ankle). Plumlee has been unable to crack the rotation in Charlotte outside of a few brief appearances.

Plumlee has been out of Charlotte's rotation for the most part, with an average of 3.8 minutes across three appearances. Plumlee is likely just getting some practice reps along with LaMelo Ball (ankle) and will be recalled after the practice.
