  • Porzingis will miss at least the next two weeks of action as he undergoes further evaluations for the illness he's dealing with, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Per Shams Charania of ESPN, Porzingis was diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), last season in Boston. He was able to find a treatment program over the summer that minimized the symptoms and came into the 2025-26 season healthy, but it seems the autonomic condition has flared up on him again. Onyeka Okongwu should continue to start with Porzingis out, and Mouhamed Gueye will be more involved in the rotation. It sounds like the earliest Porzingis could be expected to return would be Dec. 29 versus the Thunder.

  • Porzingis (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 76ers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Porzingis is set to miss a third consecutive game (and seventh over the Hawks' last eight games) due to an illness, and his next opportunity to play is Thursday against the Hornets. Onyeka Okongwu will likely continue to work in an expanded role for as long as Porzingis is out of action.

  • Porzingis (rest) won't suit up for Saturday's game versus the Wizards, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Porzingis will return to the sidelines for rest purposes on the second leg of a back-to-back set Saturday, which should open up some more minutes for Mouhamed Gueye. Porzingis' next chance to return to action will come Friday against the Pistons.

  • Porzingis (illness) racked up 25 points (9-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal over 20 minutes during Friday's 134-133 loss to Denver. Porzingis returned from a four-game absence due to an illness Friday, though he was deployed off the bench for the first time this season. Still, the veteran big man finished as the team's second-leading scorer, providing 20-plus points for the sixth time across 13 regular-season appearances. He also tied his season-high mark in triples, which he set in the team's season-opening loss to the Raptors on Oct. 22.
