Anderson (personal reasons) will not play Saturday against the Magic. Anderson hasn't been a consistent part of the rotation with nine regular-season appearances to his name. Consider him questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets.
-
Anderson totaled eight points (3-5 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one block and four steals over 17 minutes during Thursday's 123-110 victory over the Nets. Anderson continues to fly under the radar as a really solid source of fantasy value lately, particularly in category formats. Over his last three appearances, he has produced averages of 9.0 points, 4.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1.0 blocks in 21.7 minutes per contest.

Anderson finished with 12 points (6-7 FG), six rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 24 minutes during Monday's 134-117 loss to the Warriors. Making just his fifth appearance of the season, Anderson put together his strongest performance yet. He's eclipsed 20 minutes in two straight games, and it looks like the Jazz are giving him a real look in the short term due to some injuries. He's worth monitoring closely in deeper formats.

Anderson (lower back) provided five points (2-5 FG, 1-2 FT), five assists, three rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 140-126 loss to the Lakers. Anderson had missed the Jazz's previous four games while he managed a right lower back injury, but after getting cleared to play shortly before the opening tip, he ended up filling a prominent role off the bench. He and Kevin Love were the first Jazz reserves to check into the game, and Anderson nearly ended up matching starting wings Ace Bailey (23 minutes) and Svi Mykhailiuk (25 minutes) in playing time. Prior to getting hurt, Anderson hadn't been a consistent member of the Utah rotation, so despite his solid showing Tuesday, he may not be in line for a regular role once the Jazz draw closer to full strength. Though Taylor Hendricks (hamstring) suited up Tuesday, he didn't play and might have been available only in an emergency after missing the previous four games. Utah was also without Kyle Filipowski (wrist) for the first time all season.

Anderson (back) is available for Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Anderson will return from a four-game absence, which could mean fewer minutes for Kevin Love. Anderson is averaging 7.0 points and 3.0 assists per game on the season.
