Harris provided 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 26 minutes during Thursday's 119-118 win over the Lakers. With Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (personal) out, Harris made his first start of the season Thursday. Harris was able to capitalize on the increased playing time by scoring double-digit points for the first time since Opening Night. However, the 30-year-old guard is struggling with his efficiency this season, shooting just 37.5 percent from the field.

Harris is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Lakers, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Harris will get the nod at shooting guard due to the absence of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (personal). This will be the first start of the season for the 11-year veteran, who's averaging 3.4 points across 16.5 minutes per game off the bench this season.

Harris closed Wednesday's 104-93 loss to the Clippers with two points (1-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and two steals in 15 minutes. Harris is averaging 2.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 16.1 minutes across his last 10 appearances. His limited scoring production is largely due to his inefficient shooting. Over those last 10 outings, Harris is shooting just 30.0 percent from the field and 20.0 percent from three.

Harris supplied 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-9 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 116-97 win over the Heat. Harris kicked off his 11th season the league with a bang, drilling six threes from deep to help propel his squad over the Heat. His excellent result came as a surprise, as the arrival of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was expected to further limit Harris' impact. Caldwell-Pope logged 25 minutes to Harris' 22, so the two seem destined to platoon at the position.

Harris agreed to a two-year, $14 million contract with the Magic on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Harris has elected to return to Orlando after seeing his production dip yet again during the 2023-24 season. He averaged 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 54 regular-season appearances (27 starts), and he's played in 102 regular-season games over the past two years. Harris figures to serve primarly in a bench role in 2024-25, likely playing backup shooting guard minutes behind Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
