  Black signed a contract Sunday with Bahcesehir of the Turkish Basketball Super League. After being cut by the Nuggets in training camp, Black has spent the entire 2021-22 campaign with Denver's G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold. The 30-year-old big man, who most recently played in the NBA with the Rockets in the 2017-18 season, averaged 11.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.7 steals in 24/7 minutes per game over 15 appearances with the Gold.

  Black recorded 18 points (7-10 F, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks over 29 minutes during Sunday's 106-103 loss to the Go-Go. This marked the veteran center's second straight game recording at least 18 points and 10 rebounds, as he continues to shine in the G League. Black will look to keep up his solid play as he starts to earn more minutes with the Gold.

  Black finished with 18 points (4-6 FG, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block across 29 minutes during Saturday's 124-122 win over Fort Wayne. The center led the Gold in rebounds, steals and blocks during Saturday's close win. Black is averaging 11.1 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game this season with Grand Rapids.

  Black ended with 14 points (7-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 15 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 30 minutes during Sunday's 115-111 loss to the Blue Coats. The journeyman center had perhaps his best game of the G League season thus far as he finished with an impressive double-double. In fact, nine out of his 15 rebounds came on the offensive side of the floor. Black will look to build off this performance during Monday's rematch against Delaware.

  Black was waived by the Nuggets on Saturday, Mike Singer of The Denver Post reports. Black joined the Nuggets on a training camp deal in late September. He'll likely head to the G League if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
