Brunson notched 33 points (11-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 10-12 FT), six rebounds and 10 assists in 41 minutes during Sunday's 132-121 loss to Indiana. This was one of Brunson's best performances of the season, but it wasn't enough as the Knicks fell to 4-5 on the season. Brunson has stepped it up a notch in November, posting averages of 26.8 points, 7.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.6 three-pointers in his last five games.

Brunson notched 21 points (8-18 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 121-116 loss to Atlanta. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks in scoring in this loss to the Hawks, but Brunson remains a capable offensive weapon who's also been extremely consistent. The star floor general has surpassed the 20-point mark in every one of his seven appearances this season, averaging 25.3 points per contest and shooting 46 percent from the field, as well as 46.3 percent from deep. There will be times when Towns and Brunson will alternate the role of being the top scorer, but Brunson's floor as an elite scoring weapon is not under any threat, even after the moves the Knicks made in the offseason. The first two weeks of the regular season have shown Brunson and Towns can co-exist together perfectly.

Brunson logged 29 points (9-24 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 9-9 FT), eight assists, three rebounds and one steal across 42 minutes during Monday's 109-97 loss to the Rockets. Brunson scored a game-high 29 points, though he struggled from the field in the loss. The star point guard remains a consistent offensive threat, scoring at least 20 points in all six regular-season outings. However, Brunson has struggled from inside the arc. He has shot 46.3 percent from the field despite shooting 50.0 percent from deep.

Brunson finished with 36 points (14-22 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 2-4 FT), one rebound, five assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Friday's 128-98 victory over the Pistons. Brunson scored a season-high 36 points, besting his previous mark of 26 which he set against Indiana on Oct. 25. Given the standard he set last season, it hasn't been a perfect start for Brunson and the new-look Knicks, but they were certainly on their game Friday night, albeit against an inferior opponent. Brunson scored at least 30 points 43 times last year, including the postseason.

Brunson had 22 points (6-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds and nine assists in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 116-107 victory over the Heat. Brunson struggled with his shot Wednesday, but he thrived in the playmaking role while Karl-Anthony Towns carried New York's offense with a season-high 44-point effort. Brunson has been slumping with his shot over his last two games, shooting a combined 14-for-42 in that span, but that shouldn't worry fantasy managers. The star guard should bounce back sooner rather than later, although a slight decrease in his scoring figures to allow Towns to become the No. 1 option on offense might be due to happen.
