Fontecchio continues to play limited minutes off the bench, scoring no more than two points for the fourth time in the past six games. Fontecchio has struggled to keep up with the Pistons taking some massive steps forward this season. At this point, he is nothing more than a secondary scoring option who struggles for consistency.

Fontecchio has missed the Pistons' last two games due to a dislocated finger, but he has been given the green light to return Friday. He has averaged 5.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists over 15.6 minutes per game in February.

Fontecchio (finger) is out for Monday's game against the Clippers. After dislocating his right finger in Sunday's win over the Hawks, Fontecchio will need to miss at least one game due to the injury. His next opportunity to take the floor arrives Wednesday against the Celtics. Fontecchio's absence should allow Isaiah Stewart and Ron Holland to pick up a few extra minutes off the bench.

Fontecchio will not return to Sunday's game against the Hawks due to a right hand injury, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports. Fontecchio exited the game in the second quarter and finished the contest with two points (1-3 FG), one rebound and an assist in five minutes of play. The severity of Fontecchio's injury may not be known until he's evaluated further after the game, but he'll face a quick turnaround for the Pistons' next game Monday versus the Clippers.
