House (foot) was waived by the Pistons on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. House was traded from the 76ers to the Pistons earlier Thursday, but he'll be let go by Detroit a few hours after being acquired. He had carved out relatively consistent minutes for the 76ers, especially over the past few weeks, and he's expected to have a strong market in free agency.

House (foot) was traded from the 76ers to the Pistons along with a 2024 second-round pick Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. House has had relatively consistent playing time for the 76ers in recent weeks, and he took on a starting role during his last four appearances with the team. Over 34 appearances this year, he's averaged 4.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 15.0 minutes per game. He'll presumably have to settle for a bench role in Detroit as part of a team that includes several young contributors, but he'll have more opportunities for minutes if the Pistons trade Bojan Bogdanovic (calf).

House (foot) is out for Wednesday's game versus the Warriors. House has been downgraded from questionable to out Wednesday due to left foot soreness. With Marcus Morris (foot), Nicolas Batum (hamstring) and Robert Covington (knee) all out, Kelly Oubre, Jaden Springer and KJ Martin are candidates to receive increased playing time.

House is questionable for Wednesday's game against Golden State due to right foot soreness. House wasn't on the 76ers' initial injury report, but he was given a questionable designation a few hours before Wednesday's tipoff. He's taken on a starting role in recent matchups, and Patrick Beverley and Jaden Springer would be candidates to see increased playing time if House is sidelined.

House racked up four points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and five rebounds across 12 minutes during Monday's 118-102 loss to Dallas. House started with the first unit, but he was ultimately outplayed by eight other teammates Monday. Jaden Springer and Patrick Beverley could have more relevant roles than House moving forward, but the eventual return of De'Anthony Melton (back) profiles as a key addition for the near future.
