  Dowtin ended with 30 points (11-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four steals, three assists and one block across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 122-103 victory over the Wizards. Making his first appearance after sitting out Philadelphia's last six games while he approaches his limit of allotted active games at the NBA level as a two-way player, Dowtin didn't exhibit any signs of rust in his return. He came off the bench and poured in a career-high scoring total on efficient shooting, while also providing some strong contributions on the defensive end. The two-way player is eligible to be active for only one more game for the remainder of the season, so fantasy players considering streaming him or using him in DFS contests will want to verify that he's active Friday against the Hawks or Sunday against the Bulls. Over his last 11 appearances, Dowtin has averaged 16.0 points, 2.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.4 steals in 24.0 minutes per contest.

  Dowtin logged 27 points (10-21 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block over 35 minutes Saturday during the G League Delaware Blue Coats' 122-111 G League win over Raptors 905. Dowtin brought a balanced scoring attack Saturday, scoring at least six points in each quarter to help Delaware earn its 14th win of the G League regular season. Dowtin has seen extensive off the bench for the 76ers and has averaged 12.8 points, 2.5 assists and 2.2 rebounds over 21.6 minutes per game at the NBA level since the beginning of March.

• 76ers' Jeff Dowtin: Starting Wednesday

  Dowtin will start at point guard in Wednesday's game against the Wizards, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports. Dowtin will make his second start in three games Wednesday while Jared Butler comes off the bench. Dowtin has averaged 14.5 points, 2.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 steals over 24.0 minutes per game over his last two contests. After Wednesday's contest, Dowtin -- who is signed to a two-way deal -- will be eligible to play in just two more games for the 76ers over the rest of the season, unless the club converts him to a standard NBA contract.

  Dowtin provided 12 points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three blocks, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 22 minutes off the bench during Monday's 112-99 loss to New Orleans. Though he moved back to the bench after starting in Sunday's loss to the Hawks, Dowtin played at least 20 minutes for the sixth time in his last seven appearances for the shorthanded 76ers. During that stretch, Dowtin has averaged 16.4 points, 3.0 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.6 three-pointers, 1.4 steals and 0.9 blocks while shooting 56.1 percent from the floor and 44 percent from long distance. Per the terms of his two-way deal, Dowtin can be active for just three of the 76ers' remaining 10 games, though Philadelphia would have the ability to sign him to a standard NBA contract if it so chooses.

  Dowtin will come off the bench Monday against the Pelicans. Dowtin performed well in Sunday's spot start, finishing with 17 points, four boards, three assists, two blocks and three steals, but it evidently wasn't enough to secure him a second straight start. Jared Butler will get the nod at point guard Monday with Dowtin retreating to a bench role.
