The second-year guard tied Jeremiah Robinson-Earl for the bench high in points during an efficient outing Thursday. Additionally, Hawkins recorded multiple blocks for just the third time this season. Over his last five outings, the 22-year-old has averaged 9.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.6 three-pointers across 21.8 minutes per contest.

Hawkins (ankle) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against Sacramento. Hawkins injured his left ankle during the Pelicans' 144-119 loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday. He underwent X-rays after the game that came back negative, and the injury isn't severe enough for the second-year guard to be in jeopardy of missing Saturday's contest. Hawkins has averaged 10.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.9 steals over 21.6 minutes per game since the beginning of January.

Hawkins (illness) is available for Monday's game versus Denver. Hawkins is set to return from a two-game absence, and there's no word of any restrictions. With Dejounte Murray (Achilles) ruled out for the season, Hawkins is one of several players who could step into a larger role for the Pelicans.

Hawkins will miss his second consecutive contest due to a non-COVID illness, and his next opportunity to play will come Monday against Denver. With the second-year guard sidelined, Brandon Boston will likely maintain a spot in the rotation as a backup wing.

Hawkins was a late addition to the injury report, presumably after feeling under the weather after waking up overnight. His next chance to play comes Friday against Boston. With Hawkins unavailable, the Pelicans could turn to Javonte Green and Jose Alvarado to pick up some extra minutes, and/or reopen a spot in the rotation for Brandon Boston.
