  Williams has been recalled from the G League on Monday. Despite being a first-round lottery pick in 2024, Williams has not found a consistent role with the Jazz, averaging just 2.2 points, 0.9 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.2 blocks across 12.2 minutes this season. He will likely continue to split time in the G League.

  Williams had four points (2-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one block and one steal across 21 minutes during Tuesday's 140-126 loss to the Lakers. While Williams has been more involved as of late, playing in at least 19 minutes in three of his last four games, he has not done much with the time he has on the court. All three of those games were blowout situations. Williams is buried in the depth chart and will not see more playing time unless injuries or more blowouts occur.

This was just Williams' sixth appearance of the season, as injuries opened the door for him to get a chance Tuesday. He remains miles off the fantasy radar in most formats with averages of 3.2 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 11.1 minutes per contest.

  Williams is out for Thursday's preseason finale against Portland due to an illness, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. The forward sees his next chance to play in Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Clippers. Given the nature of his ailment, Williams figures to be ready by then.
