Williams (hamstring) supplied 25 points (11-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Friday's 133-96 loss to the Rockets.
After missing a game due to a hamstring injury earlier in the week, Williams played through the issue for the second contest in a row with no obvious restrictions. The fourth-year guard has provided a major lift for the injury-plagued Mavericks of late, averaging 20.4 points, 5.4 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 29.2 minutes over his last five outings. While he should be primed to continue serving as a key playmaker for Dallas until the team gets some healthy bodies back, Williams' fantasy value will have an expiration date. The two-way player has been active for 44 games at the NBA level this season and is eligible to suit up in just six of the Mavericks' remaining 14 games.
