Edwards underwent debridement surgery in Minnesota, though the team did not provide a timetable for his return. The star guard is expected to make a full recovery, with additional updates coming as he progresses through rehabilitation. Based on previous reporting from ESPN's Shams Charania, Edwards could miss up to two months. Edwards was off to a scorching start this season, averaging 33.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals across four appearances.

Edwards will undergo arthroscopic right knee surgery and is expected to miss up to two months, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. This is a tough blow after a torrid start to the season for Edwards, and it looks like we might not see him again until 2027. Ayo Dosunmu will likely be elevated to a starting role while Edwards is sidelined, while LaMelo Ball, Jaden McDaniels and Jonathan Kuminga will see a bump in usage. There will also be more minutes available for Terrence Shannon, Bones Hyland and Cody Williams.

Edwards (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors. Edwards has been playing through knee pain this season, but it hasn't impacted his numbers, as he's already had two 40-plus-point performances. However, it's possible he could get hit with a maintenance day against the 1-3 Warriors. If Edwards is out, Ayo Dosunmu would have a chance to start, and there would be more minutes available for Terrence Shannon and Bones Hyland.
