Green ended with five points (2-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and three steals over 14 minutes during Saturday's 112-86 loss to Detroit. Green continues to play a limited role off the bench, having now suited up in four straight games since returning from a shoulder injury. In those four appearances, Green has averaged just 4.5 points and 1.3 steals in 14.4 minutes per contest. He can be left alone, outside of very deep leagues.

Green made his return to the court, suiting up for the first time this season. A shoulder injury has kept Green on the sideline, although he appeared untroubled during his time on the floor. While it is good to see him back, the path to minutes is far from clear, especially once the roster is fully healthy. As always, the situation in Charlotte is worth keeping an eye on, given recent history. However, Green is not someone who needs to be prioritized outside of deeper leagues at this stage.

Green has been given the green light to make his 2025-26 debut after recovering from a left shoulder issue. He'll presumably be eased back into action, though the Hornets could use his help with LaMelo Ball (ankle), Tre Mann (knee) and Collin Sexton (quadriceps) all ruled out for Friday's matchup.

Charlotte assigned Green (shoulder) to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports. Green, who has yet to make his season debut while recovering from left shoulder surgery he underwent in June, is getting closer to a return. He's expected to practice with the Swarm on Tuesday and will likely be recalled shortly after. He remains without an official target date for making his 2025-26 debut, but it could happen shortly after the Hornets conclude their three-game road trip Friday in Toronto.
