  • Green finished with zero points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes during Wednesday's 108-107 win over the Pistons. Green failed to score during Wednesday's win and has tallied double-digit points just once this season. Despite the 24-year-old forward starting, Cody Martin logged more minutes (28) off the bench. Green is averaging 6.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 22.3 minutes on 41.9 percent shooting from the field across six appearances this season.

  • Green registered three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), one rebound and one assist in 23 minutes during Friday's 124-109 loss to Boston. Green was a non-factor in the loss, producing very little in terms of tangible numbers despite starting and playing 23 minutes. While he is a solid enough defensive presence, his efforts do not translate to meaningful value. He should continue to feature in the rotation, but nights like this are going to come more often than not.

  • Green (Achilles) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Raptors. Green will return to action Wednesday after sitting out the second night of a back-to-back for injury management. With Brandon Miller (hip) out, Green should be one of Charlotte's primary forward options off the bench.

  • Green is available but will come off the bench during Friday's game against Atlanta. Green is cleared to make his regular-season debut after missing the opener due to Achilles soreness. However, Cody Martin will remain in the starting lineup at small forward, while Seth Curry replaces Brandon Miller, who's expected to miss at least a week due to a hip injury.

  • Hornets' Josh Green: Good to go Friday
    By RotoWire

Green (Achilles) is available for Friday's game against the Hawks,Evan Sidery of Forbes.com reports. Green was deemed questionable prior to the game, but he will give it a go and make his Hornets debut while dealing with Achilles soreness. The 23-year-old is coming off a solid playoff run with Dallas last season, and he is expected to start ahead of Cody Martin at the small forward position. If Green is held to a minutes restriction, expect the club to take an extended look at both Martin and Seth Curry.
