  • Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Won't play Friday

Bagley (back) won't play Friday against the Hornets.

Bagley will miss his second straight game due to a lower back spasm. In the Wizards' previous game Wednesday versus the Magic, Richaun Holmes benefited the most from Bagley's absence by logging 25 minutes, though Holmes remained on the bench while Kyle Kuzma ended up drawing the start at center.

  • Taj Gibson PF | MEM

Pistons' Taj Gibson: Available for Thursday

Gibson will be available for Thursday's game against the Nets, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Gibson recently joined the Pistons on a 10-day deal, and he'll be available to make his Detroit debut Thursday night. However, we wouldn't expect ample minutes for the 38-year-old veteran, so he's safe to leave on the waiver wire in most settings.

  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Turns in full practice

Kessler (foot) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

The Jazz have yet to provide an updated injury report for Saturday's game in Denver, but Kessler should have a good chance at being listed as questionable or probable -- if not cleared from the report entirely -- for that contest. Kessler has missed the Jazz's last four games with a right foot sprain, but if available Saturday, he'll likely re-enter the rotation as the top backup to starting center John Collins.

  • Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Not yet taking contact

Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said Thursday that Robinson (ankle) has begun running and jumping, but the center is not yet taking contact in practice, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.

Robinson hasn't played since Dec. 8 after undergoing left ankle surgery. While Robinson seems to be progressing well in his recovery, the Knicks have yet to map out a target date for his return to game action, though the organization is optimistic he'll be able to play before the end of the season. Isaiah Hartenstein should continue to serve as the Knicks' starting center with Robinson sidelined, while Precious Achiuwa and Jericho Sims should absorb the available minutes at the position when Hartenstein is off the floor.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Ruled out against Philadelphia

Sharpe (wrist) won't play in Thursday's game versus the 76ers.

Sharpe will miss his second consecutive game Thursday after being downgraded from questionable while he manages a right wrist contusion. Trendon Watford is the most likely candidate to serve as the top backup to starting center Nic Claxton while Sharpe is sidelined.

  • Clippers' Mason Plumlee: Nears double-double off bench

Plumlee produced eight points (4-5 FG, 0-2 FT), 11 rebounds and three blocks over 20 minutes during Wednesday's 122-116 victory over the Rockets.

Plumlee led all Los Angeles players in rebounds along with a team-leading trio of blocks while ending two points shy of a double-double to provide a spark off the bench in a winning effort. Plumlee has surpassed the double-digit rebound total four games this season, including in two straight contests. He has recorded at least three blocks in two games, the other occurrence being Jan. 16 against Oklahoma City.

  • Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Makes impact off bench

Jackson-Davis registered 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 19 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 125-90 win over the Bucks.

The 2023 second-round pick tied his career high in blocks while scoring in double digits for the first time since Feb. 22. Jackson-Davis appears to have regained a consistent role in the Warriors' frontcourt rotation, playing double-digit minutes in seven of the last eight games and averaging 8.5 points, 4.5 boards and 1.4 blocks in only 14.9 minutes a contest. Should injuries allow him to take on a larger workload, Jackson-Davis could become a priority add in most fantasy formats.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Dishes season-high 14 assists

Sengun supplied 23 points (10-19 FG, 3-8 FT), 19 rebounds, 14 assists and two steals across 42 minutes during Wednesday's 122-116 loss to the Clippers.

Sengun led all players in Wednesday's contest in rebounds and assists while tallying a team-best point total in one of his best outings of the season. Sengun handed out a season-high assist total while hauling in a season-best rebound mark in his second triple-double of the year.

  • Paul Reed C | DET

76ers' Paul Reed: Double-double against Grizzlies

Reed notched 17 points (8-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 11 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal in 24 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 115-109 loss to Memphis.

Shifting back into the starting five after coming off the bench for three games, Reed responded with his fifth double-double of the season. Joel Embiid (knee) doesn't appear to be close to returning from knee surgery, so Reed will continue filling a large role in the Sixers' frontcourt, but his production has been erratic. Over 16 games since Embiid went down, Reed is averaging 8.8 points, 7.8 boards, 1.6 assists and 1.3 blocks over 25.4 minutes a contest.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Puts up triple-double in win

Sabonis notched 16 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 20 rebounds, 12 assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 130-120 victory over the Lakers.

Sabonis was successful in outplaying Anthony Davis during the win, as he bested him in points, rebounds, assists and blocked shots. The star big man added another triple-double to his total, keeping pace ahead of Nikola Jokic in the category.
