  • Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Questionable for Thursday

Ayton is questionable for Thursday's game against the Pistons due to an illness.

If Ayton is unable to give it a go, Duop Reath would get an opportunity to start, and he'd make for an intriguing streamer. Ayton managers can expect to get another update following Thursday's shootaround.

  • Raptors' Jontay Porter: Officially out

Porter (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

Porter will miss a fourth straight game due to back spasms. His next chance to suit up will be Friday versus Houston.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Knicks' Jericho Sims: Questionable for Thursday

Sims (illness) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Mavericks.

Sims is in danger of missing his second straight contest due to a non-COVID illness. If Sims is ruled out, Taj Gibson will likely continue to receive increased playing time behind Isaiah Hartenstein.

  • Mavericks' Dereck Lively: To remain sidelined Thursday

Lively (nose) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Knicks.

Lively will be unavailable for a fifth consecutive game due to a broken nose. He underwent a procedure to reset the nose Monday, but it's not yet clear when he'll be able to return to game action. His next chance to do so will be Saturday against Oklahoma City.

  • Brook Lopez C | LAC

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Will likely return Thursday

Lopez (personal) is probable for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves.

Lopez has missed three straight games due to personal issues, and the Bucks are 1-2 during that stretch. They'll likely get their center back for a tough matchup versus Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns, but Khris Middleton (ankle) is out and Damian Lillard (ankle) is questionable.

  • Maxi Kleber C | LAL

Mavericks' Maxi Kleber: Questionable for Thursday

Kleber (toe) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Knicks.

Kleber has been available for the last six matchups, but he continues to deal with a dislocated toe. He's started in his last three appearances, averaging 14.0 points, 3.3 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per game.

  • Raptors' Jontay Porter: Downgraded to doubtful

Porter (back) is now listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game versus the Hornets.

Porter is expected to miss his fourth straight game Wednesday after being downgraded from questionable to doubtful due to back spasms. Thaddeus Young will likely continue to receive increased playing time if Porter is further downgraded to out.

  • Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Dealt to Boston

The Grizzlies traded Tillman (knee) to the Celtics in exchange for Lamar Stevens and two future second-round draft picks Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Tillman is currently dealing with a left knee injury, but he's not expected to be sidelined for a lengthy period. The 24-year-old big man was averaging 6.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks in 20.6 minutes across 34 appearances in 2023-24 for Memphis. With the Celtics, Tillman will likely serve as frontcourt depth alongside Al Horford and Luke Kornet behind Kristaps Porzingis. While the deal became official Wednesday night, Tillman presumably won't be able to debut versus the Hawks, so his next chance to suit up will come Friday versus Washington.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Impresses with double-double

Drummond posted 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 FT), 16 rebounds and four blocks across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 129-123 overtime win over the Timberwolves.

Drummond started alongside Nikola Vucevic on Tuesday to match up with Minnesota's duo of Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns, and the approach worked wonders since the Bulls came out on top and Drummond delivered an impressive stat line. The veteran center has been highly productive when handed decent playing time, averaging 13.6 points with 16.4 rebounds per game when he logs at least 20 minutes, and he also has six double-doubles in his eight starts this season.

  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Posts double-double in loss

Gobert racked up 12 points (3-6 FG, 6-10 FT), 16 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 44 minutes during Tuesday's 129-123 overtime loss to Chicago.

Gobert knows most of his value will come on the defensive end and the glass, as he holds a secondary role in Minnesota's offensive scheme behind Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards, but he has been a steady double-double producer of late. The Frenchman has posted seven double-doubles over his last 10 games, a span in which he's averaged 14.8 points, 13.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per contest.
