Spurs' Zach Collins: Good to go Friday

Collins (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.

Collins will return to action Friday after missing the previous three games due to an ankle sprain. Across his last five appearances, the veteran center has averaged 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 20.2 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Listed as questionable for Saturday

Allen (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Spurs.

Allen tweaked his left ankle in the third quarter of Thursday's win over Memphis and never returned. If he's ruled out Saturday, Damian Jones would be the only true center available for Cleveland, so Evan Mobley and Dean Wade may be forced to play as a small-ball five against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Present at shootaround

Sengun (illness) was present during Houston's morning shootaround, but he remains questionable for Friday's game against the Raptors, Adam Spolane of Sports Radio 610 Houston reports.

While Sengun was present, it's unclear how active he was during the shootaround. The third-year big man has yet to miss a game this season and has posted a double-double in eight of his last 10 appearances. During that stretch, he's averaged 21.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks in 33.9 minutes per game.

  • Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Iffy for Saturday, out Monday

Lively (nose) is questionable to play Saturday against the Bucks but will not be able to play Monday versus the 76ers, Grant Afseth of SI.com reports.

Lively broke his nose during Monday's win over the Magic and didn't play Wednesday versus Minnesota. He was fitted for a mask, which he wore during Friday's practice, but the rookie wasn't overly thrilled about the idea of wearing it during a game. Lively also said that he'll undergo a procedure Monday to reset his nose, so he'll miss Monday's game even if he's cleared to suit up Saturday. Maxi Kleber (nose) and Dwight Powell would be candidates for increased roles if Lively's absence extends to multiple games.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Pacers' Myles Turner: Dealing with ankle sprain

Turner is questionable for Friday's game against the Kings due to a left ankle sprain.

Tuner has been dealing with back spasms recently, but the ankle injury is new. He played 24 minutes during Thursday's four-point loss to the Knicks and totaled just five points and four rebounds while battling foul trouble. Jalen Smith (back) is also questionable, so Isaiah Jackson would be a candidate for increased playing time if both Turner and Smith are downgraded to out.

  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Dealing with ankle sprain

Gobert is questionable for Friday's game against the Magic due to a left ankle sprain.

Gobert has missed just one game this season, but his availability for Friday is in jeopardy after being a late addition to the injury report. If the starting center is sidelined, Naz Reid would presumably be the primary beneficiary, even if he doesn't move into the starting lineup. In Gobert's lone absence this season, Kyle Anderson replaced Gobert in the starting lineup, moving Karl-Anthony Towns to center, but Reid posted 19 points, 10 rebounds and three assists in 37 minutes off the bench during a 127-120 overtime loss to Boston.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Decent two-way play in loss

Porzingis supplied 17 points (7-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, five blocks and one steal over 29 minutes during Thursday's 114-105 loss to the Lakers.

Porzingis struggled from the field and was particularly woeful from beyond the arc, as he missed six of his seven attempts from deep, but he salvaged his fantasy line by delivering strong contributions in other categories, particularly on the defensive end. Porzingis has averaged 18.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.2 blocks per game since the start of January.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Spurs' Zach Collins: Likely to play Friday

Collins (ankle), who is questionable for Friday's game against the Pelicans, will likely be able to play, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Collins has missed the past three games due to an ankle injury but will likely be able to end his absence in the first half of a back-to-back set Friday. Over his last five appearances, he's averaged 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 20.2 minutes per game.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Massive double-double Thursday

Hartenstein racked up 12 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 FT), 19 rebounds, six assists and one block across 35 minutes during Thursday's 109-105 victory over Indiana.

Hartenstein has been an excellent replacement for Mitchell Robinson (ankle) this season. He has recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the first time in the current campaign and is averaging 8.1 points with 12.0 boards per contest over his last 10 appearances.

  • Raptors' Jontay Porter: Ruled out for Friday's game

Porter (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Rockets, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.

Porter was considered doubtful for Friday's matchup, so his lack of availability isn't surprising. His next opportunity to suit up will be Sunday against the Thunder, while Thaddeus Young could see additional playing time Friday.
