Marvin Bagley III C | DAL
Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Won't play Friday
Bagley (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Heat.
Bagley was questionable on the Wizards' initial injury report and will be forced to miss his first game since mid-January due to a back contusion. Kyle Kuzma and Anthony Gill are candidates to see additional minutes Friday, while Bagley's next chance to return will be Sunday against Phoenix.

Jarrett Allen C | CLE
Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Tweaks left ankle Thursday
Allen sustained a left ankle injury in third quarter of Thursday's game against the Grizzlies and is doubtful to return, Joe Gabriele of the Cavaliers' official site reports.
If Allen's night is over as anticipated, he'll finish the contest with 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, three blocks and two assists in 21 minutes. In the event Allen ends up missing Saturday's game in San Antonio, Evan Mobley (knee) -- who is sitting out Thursday for rest purposes -- would likely slide over from power forward to start at center.

Joel Embiid C | PHI
76ers' Joel Embiid: Out with meniscus injury
Embiid was diagnosed with an injury to the lateral meniscus in his left knee following an MRI on Thursday and will be sidelined through the weekend while a treatment plan is finalized, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.
Interestingly, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported Embiid's knee injury as a "torn" meniscus, but Charnia later walked back that report. Charnia, Haynes and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN are all referring to the knee issue as an "injury" to his meniscus, making it difficult to discern a precise timeline for Embiid's return. More clarity on that front could come following the weekend, if the 76ers elect to provide an official update on Embiid. With Embiid out through the weekend and most likely multiple games to follow, Paul Reed is worth grabbing off the waiver wire in just about every format, while Mo Bamba will likely be a staple in the rotation for the time being as Reed's primary backup at center. Meanwhile, Embiid managers in redraft leagues should wait for an official diagnosis before deciding whether or not to drop him.

Steven Adams C | HOU
Rockets' Steven Adams: Traded to Houston
Adams (knee) was traded from the Grizzlies to the Rockets in exchange for Victor Oladipo and three second-round picks Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Adams underwent season-ending surgery on his right knee in November, and it appears that he'll be in a different uniform when he returns to the court during the 2024-25 season. The 30-year-old is a productive player when healthy and would be a solid veteran presence in Houston's frontcourt if he suits up for the team next season.

Alperen Sengun C | HOU
Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Questionable for Friday
Sengun (illness) is questionable for Friday's tilt with Toronto.
Sengun has yet to miss a game this season, so don't be surprised if he guts it out Friday evening. We'll have a better idea on his playing status based on his activity level at shootaround, but if he is forced to the sidelines for the first time this season, his minutes would likely be divvied up among Jeff Green, Cam Whitmore and Jae'Sean Tate, with Jabari Smith spending more time at the five spot.
-
Mark Williams C | PHO
Hornets' Mark Williams: Ruled out Friday
Williams (back) is out for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Williams will miss his 27th straight game due to injury, with no clear timetable for his return. Nick Richards will continue to fill in for Williams as the primary big man as long as he remains sidelined.

Marvin Bagley III C | DAL
Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Questionable for Friday
Bagley is questionable for Friday's game against Miami due to a low back contusion.
Bagley hasn't missed a game since mid-January but is dealing with a back contusion ahead of Friday's matchup. Kyle Kuzma and Anthony Gill could see additional minutes if Bagley is sidelined.
-
Luke Kornet C | SA
Celtics' Luke Kornet: Won't play Thursday
Kornet (hamstring) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Lakers, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
Kornet continues to deal with left hamstring tightness and will be unavailable for a third consecutive game. His next chance to suit up will be Sunday against Memphis. Sam Hauser and Al Horford are candidates to see increased run Thursday.
-
Nikola Jokic C | DEN
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Questionable for Friday
Jokic (back) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Trail Blazers.
Jokic is in danger of missing his second straight contest Friday due to lower back pain. If the superstar center is ruled out against Portland, Peyton Watson will likely continue to receive increased playing time.

Zach Collins C | CHI
Spurs' Zach Collins: Questionable for Friday
Collins (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
The ankle injury has forced Collins to miss the past three games, and with Friday's tilt coming as the first of a back-to-back set, that number could hit five. If he's not able to give it a go, Dominick Barlow should continue to benefit, serving as Victor Wembanyama's primary backup.
