Neemias Queta C | BOS
Celtics' Neemias Queta: Logs 12 minutes in loss
Queta finished with eight points (4-4 FG), five rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 12 minutes during Saturday's 115-96 loss to the Clippers.
Queta played 12 minutes in the loss, and he could be up for additional minutes should the Celtics be without both Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) and Luke Kornet (hamstring). Quete had a couple of encouraging performances about a month ago, making him a name to watch over the coming days. If Porzingis and Kornet are both ruled out against the Pelicans on Monday, he could be worth a flier in deeper formats.

Daniel Theis C | NO
Clippers' Daniel Theis: Efficient performance Saturday
Theis chipped in 18 points (8-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 26 minutes during Saturday's 115-96 win over the Celtics.
Theis had his best performance in quite some time, filling the boxscore as the Clippers destroyed the Celtics. Despite the fact the Clippers are without Ivica Zubac (calf), Theis has typically been used as a backup option behind Mason Plumlee. While this was an encouraging effort, it is not enough to make him a long-term asset in standard leagues.

Luke Kornet C | SA
Celtics' Luke Kornet: Won't return Saturday
Kornet won't return to Saturday's game against the Clippers due to left hamstring tightness, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports. He recorded 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and one block in 18 minutes prior to departing.
Kornet sustained the injury in the third quarter and won't be able to continue, leaving the Celtics low on frontcourt depth due to Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) having already been ruled out ahead of Saturday's contest. The statuses of both Porzingis and Kornet are now in question for Monday's matchup with the Pelicans.

Kevon Looney C | NO
Warriors' Kevon Looney: Rejoins reserves
Looney will come off the bench for Saturday's game against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Looney will be replaced by Draymond Green in the first unit for Saturday's tilt. Since Green's return, Looney has played 18, 10 and 16 minutes and will likely remain in that range against the Lakers.

Zach Collins C | CHI
Spurs' Zach Collins: Out Saturday
Collins is officially out for Saturday's matchup against the Timberwolves due to right ankle soreness, Bruno Passos of PoundingTheRock.com reports.
Collins had made five consecutive appearances despite lingering ankle soreness, but he won't be able to suit up Saturday. Dominick Barlow will be elevated to the main roster and act as the backup to Victor Wembanyama alongside Sandro Mamukelashvili.

Al Horford C | GS
Celtics' Al Horford: Starting sans Porzingis
Horford will enter the first unit for Saturday's game against the Clippers, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Horford will replace Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) in the starting five, a change that will likely stick for the duration of Porzingis' absence. In 17 starts this season, Horford is averaging 9.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Orlando Robinson C | ORL
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Sent to G League
The Heat assigned Robinson to the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Saturday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Robinson has appeared in six games with the Heat so far in January but is averaging just 3.0 minutes per contest. He could be in store for more meaningful playing time while he's with the Skyforce.

Joel Embiid C | PHI
76ers' Joel Embiid: Sitting out Saturday
Embiid won't play in Saturday's game against the Nuggets due to left knee soreness, Cassidy Hubbarth of ESPN reports.
Embiid didn't previously appear on the 76ers' injury report leading up to Saturday's contest but ended up being a late scratch due to the same injury that previously kept him out for three straight games earlier this month. In Embiid's absence, expect Paul Reed, Nicolas Batum and Marcus Morris to see more minutes in the frontcourt. Embiid's next chance to play will come Monday at Portland.

Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA
Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Officially questionable
Nurkic (thumb) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Magic, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Nurkic exited Friday's game after sustaining a sprained left thumb, and he'll be at risk of missing his third game of the season Sunday. If that's the case, Drew Eubanks and Chimezie Metu would likely see more minutes.

Bol Bol C | PHO
Suns' Bol Bol: Still sidelined
Bol (foot) is out for Sunday's game versus the Magic, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Bol's absence streak will extend to eight games Friday while dealing with right foot soreness. His next chance to suit up is Monday's matchup with Miami, but despite returning to on-court work, he's still experiencing pain. Per Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic, Bol hopes to suit up during the Suns' current road trip.
