  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Iffy for Wednesday

Sarr (toe) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Sarr is in jeopardy of missing his first game of the season due to left big toe soreness. If the second-year center is ultimately ruled out, Marvin Bagley and Tristan Vukcevic are candidates for increased minutes. Over his last five outings, Sarr has averaged 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.0 blocks in 30.6 minutes per contest.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Won't play vs. Thunder

Sabonis (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

The superstar big man is grabbing a seat for the first leg of Sacramento's back-to-back set. Sabonis will be trying to suit up for Thursday's clash against the Grizzlies. Drew Eubanks and Precious Achiuwa are in position to share the center minutes Wednesday.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Not expected to play Wednesday

Embiid (knee) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against Toronto.

Despite going through Tuesday's practice, the superstar big man is likely to miss a fifth consecutive game. The 76ers could have an eye toward clearing Embiid for Thursday's matchup with Milwaukee, though he should be deemed highly questionable for that one. Andre Drummond remains worth rostering in the majority of fantasy formats for Wednesday.

  • Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Probable for Wednesday

Lively (knee) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.

After getting a maintenance day during Monday's loss to the Timberwolves, Lively is expected back in the rotation against New York. He's likely to have heavy restrictions moving forward, as the center has had serious trouble staying healthy. Moussa Cisse is expected to lose some steam with Daniel Gafford (ankle) also considered probable.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Expected to play

Gafford (ankle) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.

After missing Monday's loss to the Timberwolves for the second leg of a back-to-back set, the Mavericks are expecting both Gafford and Dereck Lively (knee) to be back in the mix Wednesday. In Sunday's win over the Trail Blazers, Gafford produced 20 points (6-8 FG, 8-10 FT), six rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal over 31 minutes.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Logs another practice

Embiid (knee) went through Tuesday's practice, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.

Coach Nick Nurse didn't go into details about Embiid, so fantasy managers will have to wait until the official injury report is released Tuesday night to gauge his status for Wednesday against the Raptors. Embiid has missed the past four games for the 76ers, but he's been practicing with the team since Sunday and appears to be moving in the right direction.

  • Bam Adebayo PF | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Upgraded to questionable

Adebayo (toe) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Adebayo is officially day-to-day after missing the past six games for Miami. He did return to practice Sunday, and it sounds like his toe responded well to the increased workload. If Adebayo is given the green light to return, he may face restrictions in his first game back.

  • Timberwolves' Joan Beringer: Plays well off bench

Beringer supplied six points (2-4 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one block across eight minutes during Monday's 120-96 victory over the Mavericks.

This game was over in a hurry, allowing Beringer to see some extra run in garbage time. Across nine regular-season appearances, Beringer holds averages of 2.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in 4.1 minutes per contest.

  • Thunder's Branden Carlson: Fares well off bench

Carlson supplied seven points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 11 minutes during Monday's 126-109 win over the Pelicans.

Carlson hasn't been utilized that much as Oklahoma City's third-string center. Across 10 regular-season appearances, he's averaging 3.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.6 blocks in 8.6 minutes per contest.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Strong double-double in win

Drummond ended Monday's 110-108 win over the Clippers with 14 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 18 rebounds and one steal across 38 minutes.

Drummond has filled in admirably for Joel Embiid (knee), averaging 14.3 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.3 threes across 35.5 minutes in his last four games (all starts and all double-doubles). Drummond will continue to see increased usage until Embiid returns and is a must-add player.
