  • Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Limited to 16 minutes

Filipowski racked up four points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one steal over 16 minutes during Sunday's 126-103 loss to the Hornets.

Taylor Hendricks replaced Filipowski in the first unit and responded with a strong 14-point outing in 25 minutes. Filipowski is shooting 36.8 percent from the field to open the campaign, so it's not a surprise to see the Jazz go in a different direction, at least in the short term.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Perfect from floor in spot start

Hayes provided 15 points (7-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Sunday's 130-120 win over Miami.

Making his first start of the season, Hayes delivered an impressive offensive performance, albeit with limited usage. The 25-year-old center will return to the bench as soon as Deandre Ayton's back spasms subside, but Hayes will be an intriguing fantasy option in the short term if he gets another starting opportunity or two.

  • Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Sees 13 minutes in win

Robinson notched zero points (0-3 FG), five rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 13 minutes during Sunday's 128-116 win over Chicago.

Robinson saw a very limited workload Sunday as the Knicks continue to tread with extreme caution. Prior to the season, there were many reports about load management for Robinson, and this has the look of a frustrating situation for fantasy managers. Robinson's status for Monday's game versus the Wizards is very much in the air.

  • Bam Adebayo PF | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Strong defensive showing Sunday

Adebayo chipped in 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 130-120 loss to the Lakers.

The five assists and three steals were both season highs for Adebayo, although his 11 field-goal attempts were a season low. The veteran big man has adapted his game as the Heat try to work Kel'el Ware into the starting five at center, adding a true three-point shot to his skill set. Through six games, Adebayo is averaging 22.0 points, 9.0 boards, 3.2 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.0 steals in 34.2 minutes.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Four rejections in Sunday's loss

Wembanyama closed Sunday's 130-118 loss to Phoenix with nine points (4-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists, four blocks and one steal across 34 minutes.

The third-year superstar failed to score in double digits for the first time in over a calendar year -- the Thunder held him to six points on 1-for-5 shooting from the floor Oct. 30, 2024 -- but Wembanyama still made an impact on the defensive end as he rejected at least three shots for the fifth time in six games to start the season. His 4.7 blocks a game leads the NBA in the early going, and by a massive margin as the Wizards' Alex Sarr is second at 2.2. Wembanyama has added 26.7 points, 13.7 boards, 3.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 threes to his ledger while shooting 52.7 percent from the floor.

  • Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Logs first double-double

Porzingis chipped in 15 points (5-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and one block across 28 minutes during Sunday's 117-109 loss to Cleveland.

The star big man notched his first double-double of the season, though he was blanked from three-point range for the first time this year. With Trae Young (knee) out, Porzingis should have more playmaking responsibilities on his plate for the time being. Porzingis has averaged 18.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 blocks in 25.4 minutes per contest over his first five games, but he's failed to reach the 30-minute mark in 2025-26.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Starting sans Ayton

Hayes will start in Sunday's game against the Heat, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports.

With Deandre Ayton (back) sidelined, Hayes will get the starting nod for the first time this season. The big man has averaged 2.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 16.7 minutes per game across three regular-season appearances thus far.

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Active night at rim

Claxton tallied 19 points (8-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three blocks in 34 minutes during Sunday's 129-105 loss to Philadelphia.

Claxton posted an efficient shooting line and was productive across the board. The 26-year-old ended the contest second on the Nets in scoring behind Cam Thomas' 29 points. Claxton has been far more active at the rim over his last two matchups, totaling four swats and 18 rebounds after averaging 5.3 boards and failing to record a block in his first four games of the season.

  • Lakers' Deandre Ayton: Won't play Sunday

Ayton (back) is out for Sunday's game against the Heat.

Ayton will not play in Sunday's contest due to back spasms that arose during Friday's bout against the Grizzlies. Jaxson Hayes figures to see an expanded role at center, while Jarred Vanderbilt could also get extra run to supplement the frontcourt.

  • Yang Hansen C | POR

Trail Blazers' Yang Hansen: Recalled Sunday

The Trail Blazers recalled Hansen from the G League's Rip City Remix on Sunday.

Hansen joined Rip City for practice this weekend, though he'll return to the parent club ahead of Monday's game against the Lakers. The rookie big man has averaged 1.8 points in 5.8 minutes per game across five regular-season appearances so far this season.
