Heat's Bam Adebayo: Won't play against Washington

Adebayo is out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Wizards due to rest purposes, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.

Adebayo will sit out Sunday's regular-season finale due to the Heat already being locked into the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference. Haywood Highsmith and Kyle Anderson will likely receive increased playing time in his absence. Adebayo should be able to return to action for Wednesday's Play-In Game against Chicago.

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Sitting out Sunday

Lopez is out for Sunday's game versus the Pistons due to rest purposes.

The Bucks are already locked into the second seed in the Eastern Conference, so they will rest their veteran big man in the regular-season finale. Pete Nance will likely receive increased playing time in his absence. Lopez should be able to return to action for Milwaukee's first-round playoff matchup.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Not playing Sunday

Sharpe (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Knicks, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Sharpe will end up missing the final 10 games of the season due to a right knee sprain. The 2021 first-round pick will end the 2024-25 regular season averaging career highs in points (7.9), rebounds (6.6), assists (1.8) and minutes per game (18.2) across 50 games (including two starts). Nic Claxton (rest) should start at center for Sunday's regular-season finale, while Drew Timme serves as the backup.

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Omitted from injury report

Claxton (rest) is not on the Nets' injury report ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale against the Knicks, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Claxton has missed three of the Nets' last seven games due to rest purposes, but the 25-year-old center looks to be available for Sunday's contest. He has averaged 10.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.4 blocks over 27.4 minutes per game since the beginning of March.

  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Questionable for season finale

Carter (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Hawks, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Carter didn't play in Friday's game against the Pacers due to a right hip contusion, and it was the first game he had missed since Nov. 25. However, with Orlando locked in as the seventh seed in the East, Carter and the rest of the starters could be held out of Sunday's regular-season finale. Carter's absence would mean more playing time for Jonathan Isaac and Goga Bitadze.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Flirts with triple-double

Vucevic racked up 15 points (7-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 12 rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal in 28 minutes during Friday's 119-89 victory over Washington.

Vucevic has now recorded eight assists in back-to-back games, narrowly missing out on his second and third triple-double of the season. After shooting just 29.4 percent from behind the arc last season, the veteran big man is converting 40.3 percent of his 4.4 three-point attempts per contest in 2024-25.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Posts strong double-double

Sabonis logged 19 points (8-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Friday's 101-100 loss to the Clippers.

Sabonis continues to lead the league in double-doubles with 60 in 69 appearances, and he will claim the crown in that category if he achieves that feat in Sunday's matchup against the Suns. Sabonis has been dealing with hamstring and ankle injuries of late, but the big man has been productive whenever he's stepped on the court. He's averaging 17.2 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in his last 13 appearances, with 10 double-doubles and one triple-double in that stretch.

  • Ivica Zubac C | IND

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Posts another double-double

Zubac accumulated 17 points (8-10 FG, 1-1 FT) and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes during Friday's 101-100 victory over the Kings.

Zubac recorded a triple-double against the Rockets on Wednesday and posted a double-double Friday, with the star big man notching another impressive two-way display. That's been a trend for Zubac, though, as the big man is having a career-best season in 2024-25. He's recorded a double-double or a triple-double in each of his last 14 appearances, averaging 18.9 points, 13.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game over that stretch.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Pulls down 16 rebounds Friday

Duren accumulated 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-6 FT), 16 rebounds, five assists and one block across 39 minutes during Friday's 125-119 loss to Milwaukee.

Duren had to deal with Brook Lopez throughout the game, but the young big man still posted a decent stat line en route to recording a double-double for the sixth time across his last seven appearances. Duren is averaging 13.8 points, 13.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.8 blocks per game in five outings since the beginning of April and is ending the regular season on a strong note with the playoffs right around the corner.

  • Brook Lopez C | LAC

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Scores 15, grabs seven boards

Lopez closed with 15 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 25 minutes during Friday's 125-119 win over Detroit.

Giannis Antetokounmpo stole the show with another triple-double, his fourth over his last five games, but Lopez also delivered solid value on both ends of the court, particularly as a rebounder and rim protector. The veteran big man figures to play a huge role for the Bucks in the playoffs, and with one game left in the regular season, he's averaging 13.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 blocks per game since the beginning of March.
