  • Raptors' Orlando Robinson: Barely sees floor in loss

Robinson closed Wednesday's 138-107 loss to the Grizzlies with one point (1-2 FT) across three minutes.

Robinson continues to be used sparingly by the Raptors, having played fewer than 15 minutes in four of the past five games. While it has been slow going for Robinson, there is a chance he could step into a meaningful role in the near future. Jakob Poeltl is sidelined due to a hip injury, while Kelly Olynyk was traded to the Pelicans on Wednesday. Depending on what happens at the trade deadline, Robinson could be the next man up in the middle.

  • Suns' Nick Richards: Hauls in team-high six rebounds

Richards contributed six points (3-3 FG), six rebounds and one steal in 21 minutes during Wednesday's 140-109 loss to Oklahoma City.

Richards led the Suns with six rebounds in Wednesday's blowout, but he didn't make a big impact in the box score overall. Richards has started in nine of his 10 appearances since landing in Phoenix, averaging 10.0 rebounds, 8.9 points and 0.8 blocks in 24.1 minutes while shooting 57.4 percent from the field. The 27-year-old big man has a more consistent role than he did in Charlotte while playing behind Mark Williams, but Richards is still splitting minutes with veteran Mason Plumlee.

  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Collects season-high 18 rebounds

Kessler posted 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-2 FT), 18 rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 131-128 victory over the Warriors.

Kessler produced his 20th double-double of the campaign Wednesday, also collecting a season-high 18 rebounds against a Warriors team missing Trayce Jackson-Davis (knee). Kessler's availability has been somewhat sporadic lately, but he's been a force in the paint for the Jazz when healthy. Across his last seven contests, the 2022 first-rounder has averaged 13.1 rebounds, 11.6 points, 1.7 blocks and 1.0 steals while shooting 72.9 percent from the field.

  • Warriors' Kevon Looney: Team-high 10 rebounds in loss

Looney posted six points (2-5 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 131-128 loss to Utah.

Although Looney came off Golden State's bench Wednesday, he led the team with 10 rebounds for his 12th game of the year with double-digit boards. The veteran big man also played 23 minutes to starter Quinten Post's 25, signaling the Warriors went with a near even timeshare at the center position. Looney's playing time also benefitted from the absence of Trayce Jackson-Davis (knee), so the former may not have the same fantasy appeal if the latter returns Thursday against the Lakers.

  • Lakers' Mark Williams: Making move to L.A.

The Lakers acquired Williams from the Hornets on Thursday in exchange for forwards Dalton Knecht and Cam Reddish, a 2031 first-round pick and a 2030 first-round pick swap, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Williams will function as Anthony Davis' replacement, as he should immediately step in as the Lakers' new starting center once he's cleared to debut. One of the most promising young big men in the NBA, Williams has one year left on his rookie contract but appears to be in the Lakers' long-term plans. After missing the Hornets' first 20 games of the season due to a left foot tendon strain, Williams returned to action in early December and averaged 16.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 blocks across 25.0 minutes in his 23 appearances for Charlotte before being traded.

  • Paul Reed C | DET

Pistons' Paul Reed: Balanced outing in limited time

Reed posted seven points (3-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across eight minutes during Wednesday's 118-115 loss to the Cavaliers.

Reed played a team-low minutes total Wednesday but made the most of his time on the floor by finishing as one of two Pistons bench players with at least five points and five rebounds. Reed has hauled in six or more boards in four contests, adding at least seven points in three of those outings.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Bucks' Jericho Sims: Headed to Milwaukee via trade

The Knicks traded Sims to the Bucks on Wednesday as part of a trade that sent Khris Middleton to Washington and Kyle Kuzma to Milwaukee, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Sims will provide center depth for the Bucks behind Brook Lopez. Sims hasn't averaged more than 16 minutes per game in any of his four seasons in New York, and he averaged just 1.6 points and 3.3 rebounds across 10.8 minutes with the Knicks this season. Given the Bucks' current roster, Sims shouldn't be expected to see a significant bump in playing time. However, Milwaukee is expected to be active ahead of Thursday's trade deadline, which could potentially open more opportunities for Sims.

  • Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Downgraded to out

Jackson-Davis (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Jazz, Danny Emerman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Right knee soreness will keep Jackson-Davis out of action for the first leg of Golden State's back-to-back Wednesday, and the big man will aim to return in Thursday's showdown against the Lakers. Quinten Post will take over down low in the Warriors' starting lineup, and Kevon Looney will take on the backup center role against Utah.

  • Brook Lopez C | LAC

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Cools off after first quarter

Lopez finished Wednesday's 112-102 win over the Hornets with 14 points (4-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds over 30 minutes.

The Bucks were without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was a late scratch due to left calf soreness Wednesday. Lopez got Milwaukee's offense off and running, going 4-for-5 from three-point range in the first quarter. The veteran center wasn't able to maintain that level of output over the last three quarters of the game, but that's when Damian Lillard (29 points) and the returning Bobby Portis (23) were able to pace the Bucks' offense. Lopez has connected on at least three three-pointers in four of his last six outings, and since the beginning of January he has averaged 11.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.9 blocks over 31.6 minutes per game.

  • Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Now questionable

Jackson-Davis is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder due to right knee soreness.

Jackson-Davis is a late addition to the injury report Wednesday for the opening leg of a back-to-back set. Quinten Post will start at the center position, and Kevon Looney would operate as Post's primary backup if Jackson-Davis can't go.
