Wembanyama (illness) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Heat, Michael C. Wright of ESPN.com reports.

Wembanyama was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness, and it appears serious enough for him to be sidelined for Saturday's contest. Charles Bassey will start at center Saturday while Sandro Mamukelashvili and Zach Collins should see a bump in playing time due to Wembanyama's absence.

After coming out on top against Giannis Antetokounmpo in Friday's blowout win against the Bucks, Wembanyama might not play in the second game of a back-to-back against Miami due to an illness. If the rising star can't play Saturday, the Spurs could turn to Sandro Mamukelashvili, Charles Bassey and Zach Collins to pick up the slack in the frontcourt.

Gibson will come off the bench in Saturday's game against the Nuggets.

After being in the starting lineup for three of the last four games, Gibson will return to a bench role with the Hornets. Mark Williams will get the start against Denver with the task of trying to contain three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.

Lopez hasn't missed a game all season for the Bucks but showed up on the team's injury report ahead of Sunday's game against Memphis. The veteran big man is averaging 12.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.0 blocks per game, shooting 47.7 percent from the floor and 36.3 percent from deep.

Reid will be in the Timberwolves' starting lineup against the Wizards on Saturday, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.

Head coach Chris Finch told reporters Saturday that he expects the Timberwolves to be without Julius Randle "for the near future" due to a right groin strain that he suffered in Thursday's 138-113 win over the Jazz. Reid will make his first start of the 2024-25 regular season Saturday and will likely remain in the Timberwolves' starting five for as long as Randle is sidelined. Reid averaged 16.1 points on 54.4 percent shooting (including 57.5 percent from three on 5.3 3PA/G), 5.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 0.9 steals over 26.9 minutes per game in January.

Sengun (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Nets, Jackson Gatlin of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Sengun will miss a second straight game Saturday as he nurses a left calf contusion. With the All-Star big man on the mend, the Rockets will likely turn to Steven Adams and Jock Landale to shoulder the load in the paint against Brooklyn.

Drummond (toe) has been listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

Drummond has missed the last five games for the 76ers and could miss a sixth straight game due to a toe injury. Guerschon Yabusele will almost certainly get more time on the floor if Drummond can't play, especially with Joel Embiid (knee) still on the mend.

Embiid continues to progress in his recovery from a left knee injury, but he has not been cleared to play Sunday and will miss his 15th straight game as a result. Eubanks (recently traded) won't be available to make his Clippers debut Sunday in Toronto, independent NBA writer Justin Russo reports.

Earlier Saturday, the Clippers acquired Eubanks and Patty Mills from the Jazz in exchange for P.J. Tucker, Mo Bamba, a 2030 second-round draft pick and cash. The trade hasn't yet been made official, so Eubanks won't join the club in Toronto and will instead wait until the Clippers return to Los Angeles before making his debut as soon as Tuesday versus the Lakers. Eubanks is eventually expected to settle in as the top backup to starting center Ivica Zubac.
