Jazz's Drew Eubanks: Won't start vs. Minnesota
Eubanks will come off the bench in Thursday's game against the Timberwolves, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
The 27-year-old big man will slide to the bench with Walker Kessler (shoulder) returning to game action. Over his last five outings (two starts), Eubanks has averaged 7.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 17.8 minutes per contest.

Alperen Sengun C | HOU
Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Won't suit up Thursday
Sengun (calf) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Memphis, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Sengun will miss his first contest of the season due to a left calf contusion, and his next chance to feature will come Saturday against Brooklyn. With the young star sidelined, Steven Adams and Jock Landale could both be in line for a bump in playing time.

Steven Adams C | HOU
Rockets' Steven Adams: Cleared to play
Adams (ankle) is available and starting Thursday's game against the Grizzlies, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Adams was given the green light to take part in shootaround earlier in the day and has since been cleared by the team's medical staff to suit up Thursday. The veteran center is averaging 5.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 blocks over his last five games off the bench but should see more opportunities to produce in Alperen Sengun's (calf) place.

Clint Capela C | HOU
Hawks' Clint Capela: Likely to miss three-game road trip
Capela (back), who has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game in Cleveland, didn't travel with the Hawks for the start of their three-game road trip, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Capela will miss a second straight game Thursday while he battles back spasms, and his absence from the trip implies that he's not expected to be available Saturday in Indiana or Monday in Detroit. While Capela is sidelined, Larry Nance will likely step into the rotation as the primary backup to starting center Onyeka Okongwu.

Maxi Kleber C | LAL
Mavericks' Maxi Kleber: Undergoes foot surgery
The Mavericks announced Thursday that Kleber underwent surgery to repair a right foot fracture. He remains out indefinitely, and further updates on his status will be provided when appropriate.
Kleber fractured his foot in a Jan. 25 loss to the Celtics. Though the Mavericks aren't provided a timeline for his return, the fact that he required surgery to address the injury suggests that he'll be sidelined for multiple months, potentially resulting him missing the rest of the regular season. With Dereck Lively (ankle) also out indefinitely, the Mavericks will continue to rely heavily on Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington in the frontcourt.

Daniel Theis C | NO
Pelicans' Daniel Theis: Doubtful for Friday
Theis (thumb) has been listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Celtics.
Theis is having a less-than-stellar season in a bench role with the Pelicans. The veteran big man is averaging a career-low 4.3 points to go along with 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 16.3 minutes per game. From a fantasy perspective, he hasn't made a big impact during the 2024-25 campaign.

Al Horford C | GS
Celtics' Al Horford: Expected to play Friday
Horford (toe) is listed as probable for Friday's game versus the Pelicans, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
Horford is expected to return to action Friday after missing Boston's previous two outings due to a left toe sprain. The veteran big man should continue to operate as one of Boston's primary backups in the frontcourt alongside Luke Kornet.
-
Dwight Powell C | DAL
Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Another absence coming
Powell (hip) won't play in Friday's game versus the Pistons.
Powell's absence streak will extend to seven games Friday due to a strained right hip. The 33-year-old big man's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Cleveland.
-
Mark Williams C | PHO
Hornets' Mark Williams: Remaining out Friday
Williams (foot) won't play in Friday's game versus the Clippers.
Williams will miss his second straight contest due to left foot tendon injury management Friday. Taj Gibson will likely draw another start in his absence. It wouldn't be surprising for Williams to return to action for the second leg of Charlotte's back-to-back Saturday against Denver.

Andre Drummond C | PHI
76ers' Andre Drummond: Ruled out for Friday
Drummond (toe) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Nuggets.
Drummond will miss a fifth straight game Friday for the 76ers as he continues to deal with a toe injury on his left foot. With Joel Embiid (knee) also ruled out for the matchup with Denver, Guerschon Yabusele will likely continue to get an increased workload in the frontcourt for Philadelphia.
