Mark Williams C | PHO
Hornets' Mark Williams: Sitting out Wednesday
Williams has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Nets due to left foot tendon injury management.
Even though Wednesday's contest is a standalone game, the Hornets will opt to give Williams a breather while the big man has handled a heavy workload of late. After being held under 30 minutes in his first nine appearances since returning from the foot injury Dec. 3 for his season debut, Williams had averaged 30.4 minutes per contest while appearing in 11 of the Hornets' last 12 contests. Williams' absence Wednesday should pave the way for Moussa Diabate and Taj Gibson to cover most of the minutes at center.

Al Horford C | GS
Celtics' Al Horford: Questionable for Wednesday
Horford (toe) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bulls, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
Horford missed Monday's loss to the Rockets and could miss a second straight game Wednesday when the defending NBA champions take on the Bulls in Boston. The veteran big man has struggled during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging career-low numbers in points (8.1) and rebounds (5.3) for the Celtics.

Alex Sarr C | WAS
Wizards' Alex Sarr: Iffy for Wednesday
Sarr is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors with a left ankle sprain.
Sarr picked up the ankle injury Monday against Dallas. He attempted to play through it, but was later ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Tuesday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so the Wizards could exercise caution. If that's the case, Jonas Valanciunas could step into a large role.

John Collins PF | LAC
Jazz's John Collins: Ruled out Tuesday
Collins (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Warriors, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Collins will miss his third straight game due to an illness. The veteran big man has played in only two of Utah's last 16 games, which has resulted in more time on the floor for Drew Eubanks and Kyle Filipowski. Both players will likely get more minutes on Tuesday against Golden State.
-
Walker Kessler C | UTA
Jazz's Walker Kessler: Out again Tuesday
Kessler (shoulder) will not play Tuesday against the Warriors.
Kessler will miss his second game in a row Tuesday, presumably after picking up the injury in Saturday's loss to Memphis. With John Collins (illness) and Lauri Markkanen (rest) also sidelined, Drew Eubanks, Kyle Filipowski, Micah Potter and Brice Sensabaugh will likely cover the bulk of the frontcourt minutes.

Jakob Poeltl C | TOR
Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Produces 21 points
Poeltl posted 21 points (10-14 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 32 minutes during Monday's 113-104 win over New Orleans.
Poeltl was able to shake off a questionable tag due to a back injury, finishing with his ninth game of the season with at least 20 points in the process. He's had a phenomenal season as Toronto's starting center, as he's on pace to return fourth-round value in nine-category formats with averages of 14.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.3 blocks.
-
Anthony Davis C | WAS
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Probable against Philadelphia
Davis (foot) has been listed as probable for Tuesday's matchup against the 76ers, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
After an incredible performance in Monday's win against the Hornets, Davis will likely play in the second game of a back-to-back Tuesday in Philadelphia. The veteran big man was thought to potentially rest against the 76ers, especially after recording a season-high 42 points and 23 rebounds in Charlotte. However, he's trending toward playing, which is good news for Los Angeles, who'll be trying to win a fifth straight game.
-
Brandon Clarke C | MEM
Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke: Scores 10 off bench
Clarke produced 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one block over 17 minutes during Monday's 143-106 loss to the Knicks.
The Grizzlies have a very deep rotation when the team is mostly healthy, making it hard for Clarke to see a significant workload. Clarke has averaged 19.0 minutes across 13 January appearances to go with 8.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals.
-
Ivica Zubac C | IND
Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Scores season-high 25 points
Zubac supplied 25 points (12-17 FG, 1-1 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Monday's 111-109 loss to the Suns.
Zubac recorded his best scoring output of the season but was also impressive on the boards, as this was his 15th game with at least 15 rebounds. That impressive ability on both ends of the court has catapulted Zubac to the status of being one of the top centers in The Association this season. He's averaging 15.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 blocks per game since the beginning of January.

Daniel Gafford C | DAL
Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Excellent two-way play
Gafford finished Monday's 130-108 victory over the Wizards with 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and five blocks over 24 minutes.
Gafford has been making the most of the minutes he's earning in a depleted Mavericks frontcourt, and he's proving to be a reliable presence on both ends of the court for Dallas. Since moving to a starting role Jan. 15 during a 119-116 loss to the Pelicans seven games ago, Gafford is averaging 18.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.3 blocks and 2.3 assists per game. With Dereck Lively (ankle) and Maxi Kleber (foot) out for at least a couple of months, Gafford should continue starting for the Mavericks.
