Jock Landale C | ATL
Rockets' Jock Landale: Out again Saturday
Landale (personal) will not play Saturday versus Portland.
Landale will miss a third game in a row Saturday, and it's unclear when he'll be able to return. Landale fell out of the rotation recently, so this is unlikely to impact most fantasy leagues.

Drew Eubanks C | SAC
Jazz's Drew Eubanks: Starting vs. Pels
Eubanks is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
The Jazz will be extremely depleted in the frontcourt, and Eubanks will get the start at center due to the absence of Walker Kessler (rest). This will be Eubanks' second start of the 2024-25 season. He posted eight points, nine rebounds, two assists and three blocks across 31 minutes in his previous start, a 112-111 win over the Nets on Sunday, Jan. 12.

DeAndre Jordan C | NO
Nuggets' DeAndre Jordan: Back to bench Friday
Jordan is back with the second unit for Friday's game against the Heat.
After starting Wednesday's loss to Houston, Jordan will head back to Denver's bench in the return of Nikola Jokic (illness) on Friday. Over his past five games (two starts), Jordan is averaging 5.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 16.3 minutes.

Daniel Theis C | NO
Pelicans' Daniel Theis: Starting vs. Utah
Theis is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Jazz.
The Pelicans will be without Yves Missi on Friday due to an illness, so Theis will have a golden chance to make a good impression in this matchup. He's averaging 4.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in his seven starts this season, so he's not expected to affect many fantasy decisions even with the change in role.

Chet Holmgren PF | OKC
Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Out for at least three more weeks
Holmgren (hip) will be re-evaluated in approximately three-to-five weeks, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Holmgren is continuing to progress in his return-to-play protocol as he continues to recover from a fractured hip, but he still has some hurdles to climb and may not be ready to return until after the All-Star break. With Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) also on the shelf for about a week, Jaylin Williams and Branden Carlson should split the traditional center minutes for the Thunder, but Oklahoma City's deep rotation allows the team to use Jalen Williams as a small-ball five with regularity.

Nikola Jokic C | DEN
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Available for Friday
Jokic (elbow) is available for Friday's game against the Heat.
After sitting out Wednesday's game versus Houston, Jokic will shake off a questionable tag after making it through warmups without any setbacks -- he was sporting a sleeve on his elbow, for what it's worth. DeAndre Jordan will likely slide to the bench with Jokic back in the mix.
-
Jericho Sims C | MIL
Knicks' Jericho Sims: Starting against Minnesota
Sims is starting in Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
With Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist) out Friday, Sims will get the start at center for the Knicks. Sims has averaged 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 points and 1.0 assists in 19.1 minutes over four games as a starter this season, and Precious Achiuwa should also play a significant role off New York's bench against Minnesota.
-
Mark Williams C | PHO
Hornets' Mark Williams: Available, will play Friday
Williams (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Bulls.
Seeing Williams on the injury report is always complicated, but the big man will be available and should handle his regular workload at center in what figures to be a promising matchup against the Bulls. Williams is averaging 18.6 points, 11.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game since the beginning of January.

Nick Richards C | CHI
Suns' Nick Richards: Set to make team debut Saturday
Richards (recently traded) is not listed on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Pistons.
It sets the stage for Richards to make his Suns debut after being traded by the Hornets on Wednesday. Although Phoenix could be preparing to have Richards start once he gets acclimated to the system, it's unclear what role he'll play immediately with his new team. In any event, the 27-year-old big man has averaged 11.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 blocks in 27.2 minutes over nine games as a starter this season, and his presence likely spells bad news for the playing time of veteran Mason Plumlee.
-
Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA
Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Remains out Saturday
Nurkic (illness) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Pistons.
Nurkic will miss a sixth straight game for the Suns as he battles an illness. With the veteran big man still sidelined, the newly acquired Nick Richards could get some of his minutes along with fellow veteran big Mason Plumlee.
