  • Mavericks' Marvin Bagley: Starting Wednesday

Bagley is in the Mavericks' starting lineup against the Suns on Wednesday, Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Daniel Gafford (shoulder) is out for Wednesday's contest, so Bagley will make his 11th start of the season (and first since March 13). Bagley played 26 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 116-103 loss to the Clippers and finished with 21 points, nine rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal.

  • Suns' Khaman Maluach: Making first career start

Maluach will start Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.

With Mark Williams (foot) sidelined, Maluach will get the starting nod for the first time in his NBA career. The rookie first-rounder has averaged 4.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 11.0 minutes per game across his last 10 appearances, though he'll likely see increased minutes Wednesday.

  • Ryan Nembhard PG | DAL

Mavericks' Ryan Nembhard: Back in starting lineup

Nembhard is in the Mavericks' starting lineup against the Suns on Wednesday, Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Nembhard did not start in each of the Mavericks' last two games after doing so in the three games prior, but he's back in the lineup for Wednesday's contest due to the absences of Naji Marshall ( hip) and P.J. Washington (elbow). Nembhard is coming off a solid performance against the Clippers on Tuesday, when he played 25 minutes and finished with 12 points, seven assists, six rebounds and two steals in a 116-103 loss.

  • Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Efficient in return

Mitchell posted 31 points (12-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one block over 35 minutes during the Cavaliers' 122-116 win over the Hawks on Wednesday.

Mitchell was given the green light to return from a one-game absence due to a right ankle sprain. He started out slow with just four points in the first quarter but shook out of that early funk to score 23 points across the second and third frames and finished as the Cavaliers' leading scorer. It was Mitchell's 34th 30-plus-point game of the season, three of which have come over his last five outings. Over that five-game span, he has averaged 27.6 points on 55.7 percent shooting along with 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.0 threes over 32.4 minutes per contest.

  • Ajay Mitchell PG | OKC

Thunder's Ajay Mitchell: Retreating to bench Wednesday

Mitchell won't start Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Mitchell got the spot start in Tuesday's win over the Lakers but will slide back to the second unit with Jalen Williams (hamstring) back in the lineup. Mitchell has averaged 9.6 points, 4.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds across 21.8 minutes per game over his last five appearances off the bench.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Clippers' John Collins: Back in starting five

Collins is in the Clippers' starting lineup against the Thunder on Wednesday, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Collins has come off the bench in each of the Clippers' last two games, but he'll return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's contest due to the absence of Darius Garland (toe). Collins started nine consecutive outings from March 16 to April 2, and over that span, he averaged 12.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 threes and 0.9 steals over 26.7 minutes per contest.

  • Clippers' Isaiah Jackson: Could return Sunday

Jackson (ankle) could return as soon as Sunday, which will be the regular-season finale against the Thunder, Janis Carr of The Orange County Register reports.

Jackson has been out of action since March 27 due to a right ankle sprain. If he's unable to return Sunday, then the next time that he would be available would be for the Clippers' opening game in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament. Jackson averaged 18.3 minutes per game off the bench across his 14 outings prior to his injury, and his return would bolster the Clippers' depth at center behind starter Brook Lopez.

  • Dylan Harper PG | SA

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Starting sans Castle

Harper will start Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

With Stephon Castle (knee) sidelined, Harper will get the starting nod. The rookie guard has averaged 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 triples in 25.5 minutes per contest through two starts this season.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

    Spurs' Luke Kornet: Starting Wednesday

Kornet is in the Spurs' starting lineup against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

Kornet will make his 25th start of the season Wednesday due to the absence of Victor Wembanyama (ribs). Kornet's last start took place this past Thursday against the Clippers, when he played 25 minutes and finished with eight points, six rebounds and five assists in a 118-99 win.

  • Franz Wagner PF | ORL

Magic's Franz Wagner: Returns to Wednesday's game

Wagner (knee) returned in the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Wagner briefly exited to the locker room early in the third quarter after appearing to injure his left knee. However, he was cleared to return later in the same frame and checked back in at the 2:44 mark.
