NBA Player News

  • Coby White PG | CHA

Hornets' Coby White: Trending in right direction

White (calf) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Bulls.

White is on the verge of his Charlotte debut after missing time with a left calf strain. If all goes according to plan, he should be available off the bench for Tuesday's clash. Expect an update on White's availability from the team closer to tipoff.

  • Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Set for Tuesday return

Robinson (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.

Robinson received a rest day Sunday as the team finished off the second half of a back-to-back. He'll be available off the bench in his usual capacity Tuesday. Robinson is averaging 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game over his previous five outings.

  • Micah Peavy SF | NO

Pelicans' Micah Peavy: Sitting out Tuesday

Peavy (toe) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Warriors.

Peavy will miss a fourth straight game due to a right toe sprain. Per Erin Summers of the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network, Pelicans interim head coach James Borrego said that the rookie forward took part in practice Monday, so Peavy appears to be day-to-day and could be back in action as soon as Thursday in Utah. Peavy may not be part of the rotation once he's cleared to play, however.

  • Wizards' Tristan Vukcevic: Game-time call for Tuesday

Vukcevic (hand) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Hawks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Vukcevic is in danger of missing a second straight matchup after suffering a right hand injury Friday against Indiana. The Wizards should have a better idea of his status for Tuesday closer to game time. Anthony Gill started in Vukcevic's place Sunday and would likely be in line for another opportunity with the first unit if Vukcevic can't go.

  • Yves Missi C | NO

Pelicans' Yves Missi: Another absence coming

Missi is out for Tuesday's game against the Warriors due to a strained left calf.

Missi is set for a fourth consecutive absence Tuesday, and his timeline for a return remains in the dark heading into Thursday's clash against the Jazz. DeAndre Jordan and Karlo Matkovic are likely to share the backup center minutes behind Derik Queen on Tuesday.

  • Wizards' Justin Champagnie: Questionable for Tuesday

Champagnie (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Atlanta.

Champagnie missed Sunday's contest and two of the past three games due to right knee tendinopathy and is now iffy to play in Atlanta. If he's ruled out, Will Riley and Jamir Watkins are strong candidates to absorb minutes at forward.

  • Pelicans' Dejounte Murray: Available for Tuesday

Murray (Achilles) has been cleared to play Tuesday against Golden State.

Murray said after Monday's practice that he would make his season debut Tuesday, and the team has now officially confirmed it. Given that the 29-year-old point guard last played in an NBA game Jan. 31, 2025 before undergoing surgery to repair his torn right Achilles tendon, he'll likely be facing strict limitations with his playing time for at least his first few games coming off the injury. The Pelicans could also bring Murray off the bench Tuesday to better manage his workload.

  • Pelicans' Trey Murphy: Ruled out for Tuesday

Murphy (shoulder) is out for Tuesday's game against the Warriors.

Murphy missed Monday's practice with a right shoulder contusion, and it sounds like he can be deemed day-to-day ahead of Thursday's tilt in Utah. The star forward's absence should keep Jordan Poole in the New Orleans rotation, making Poole a worthwhile streaming candidate Tuesday.

  • Kam Jones PG | IND

Pacers' Kam Jones: Iffy for Tuesday

Jones is questionable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers due to lower-back soreness.

Jones managed to play through the same issue Sunday, but he'll presumably need to test out the back injury during pre-game warmups before the team clears him for Tuesday's action. Expect another update closer to tipoff.

  • Alex Caruso PG | OKC

Thunder's Alex Caruso: Questionable with ankle sprain

Caruso is questionable for Tuesday's game against Toronto due to a left ankle sprain. Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

After missing Sunday's game against Cleveland, Caruso is aiming to keep his absence to a one-game minimum Tuesday. If the swingman doesn't suit up, some extra playing time would become open to Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe on the wing.
