Johnson failed to record a catch during Sunday's 28-22 win against the Patriots. Johnson was on the field for a season-low seven snaps, and his usage puts him clearly in the backup tier along with Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington. Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp combined to put up a monster 13-229-3 line, and Demarcus Robinson continued his role as the tertiary target at wideout. Johnson's role is unlikely to change barring injury, and a difficult matchup against the Eagles lies in wait Week 12.

Johnson secured three of four targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 23-15 loss to the Dolphins. Johnson earned the most targets and catches among Rams depth receivers, out-pacing Tutu Atwell (one catch for six yards) and Jordan Whittington (zero targets). While Johnson has proven to be a reliable option for Matthew Stafford this season, his 10 snaps tied a season low, and he'll be hard to trust on fantasy rosters given his reduced time on the field. A Patriots defense that just held the Bears to 120 passing yards is up next for the Rams in Week 11.

Johnson failed to record a target and played 11 snaps on offense during Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Packers. For the first time this season, Johnson was completely blanked on the stat sheet, a week after failing to secure his lone target in a loss to the Bears. Even with Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (knee) out, Johnson's role has steadily reduced as Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington have commanded the majority of Matthew Stafford's attention among wideouts. With Kupp potentially returning after the Rams' Week 6 bye and Nacua returning shortly after, Johnson's already limited role likely will continue to be reduced in the coming weeks.

Johnson brought in three of four targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the 49ers. The fourth-year backup recorded his second game with 20 yards receiving since being elevated to help replace Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle) in the starting lineup. Johnson still lacks the upside needed to warrant starting in standard fantasy formats, but he is certainly a name worth monitoring heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Bears.

Johnson and the Rams' other wide receivers are preparing for larger roles with Puka Nacua (knee) on injured reserve and Cooper Kupp (ankle) expected to miss multiple games, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports. Apart from garbage time in this past Sunday's blowout loss to the Cardinals, Johnson has played nearly every snap on offense since Nacua injured his knee in the second quarter of the Rams' Week 1 contest. Johnson finished the opener with five catches for 79 yards on seven targets, before slumping to two catches for 20 yards (three targets) in the Week 2 loss at Arizona. He now appears locked in as a starter for at least the next few games, alongside Demarcus Robinson and Jordan Whittington/Tutu Atwell. A matchup with the 49ers this Sunday isn't ideal, and the Rams offense faces the added challenge of losing two starting linemen to injured reserve already.
